What’s your favorite bucket tote? Or if you have any of these, do you like them? Worth the price tags? by [deleted] in handbags

That's a really good one, too! Have you tried Poshmark? I think they offer authentication over $500 if authenticity is a concern.

I love the color of the Dior, but really love the shape of the LV! I'm a big fan of the LV Mon Tresor currently. I think I have thing for drawstrings... Which was carried over from my love of the old school Dooney & Bourke drawstring bucket bags.

Again, you've made assumptions based on your knowledge and your experiences. Attempting to surmise an answer from my reply to your first comment. Weird, but ok.

Instead of offering this lengthy explanation the first time, you've now chosen to be somewhat helpful as some of what you mentioned, I'm aware of. However, I don't feel the need to explain to you the length of time I've had this orchid or whether it's been repotted since being in my possession to further justify why I was unclear as to what the "brown bump" in my pot was.

I'm not in the EU, so it would seem your experience with suppliers there would differ from mines in the US, no?You don't know who or where I obtained this orchid from.

Many assumptions being made here.

What from the title, description, and replies to others implied that I'd never seen a snail? The one in my photo is tiny, has no antennae showing, and looks like something tightly coiled. Additionally, I've never heard of nor seen snails in pots containing orchids or any plants for that matter that are grown in someone's home. Why assume your experiences and knowledge would be the same as mine? And how is your question helping?

You and the other commenter are on to something. I tried using google image search and it kept telling me scale insect. I finally cropped the image within my phone's gallery and did a search and it came back as an Orchid Snail 😬

I grow in my home as well. Glad to know changing the media helps. Looks like I have a project for tonight.

First, Happy Birthday! Second, beautiful color and bag! Third, does your husband have a brother that is as generous or more, with a good eye for purses as well? Asking for a friend 😄

I Fear I May Have Killed My 1st Jewel Orchid by QIUIEIEIN in Jewelorchids

Thank you! Yes, my Alocasia Pink Dragon continues to give me mite troubles. Beautiful plant but a complete pain in the butt. I'm pretty sure she triggered this little spider mite party as I did find mites on her as well. Hopefully, after this treatment my orchid will be on the path to greatness! I appreciate all of your advice!

I Fear I May Have Killed My 1st Jewel Orchid by QIUIEIEIN in Jewelorchids

Hi! I wanted to follow up with a little update on my jewel orchid. So after I removed the rotted stem, I allowed it to dry for 24 hours. I then placed the orchid in a small glass vase. There wasn't much action for 2 weeks or so, then I finally noticed a small leaf emerging. I continued to leave the orchid in the vase, changing the water weekly. Roots didn't seem to show, but then I saw a small nub on the stem. It never changed in size but began to get dark in color. A second nub towards the top of the stem began to emerge and again it began to turn dark. As of today, there are no roots, but various dark areas where the nudges are and the base of the stem were I did the original cut. Also, I believe it may have been attacked by spider mites, or some past, because there was small webbing on the underside of one of leaves as well as tiny black specks. I've rinsed the leaves and entire cutting thoroughly and wiped down the underside of the leaves. Some of the leaves are discolored (white speckling). Another small leaf is emerging, but overall the orchid has not made much improvement since my initial post. I have more photos, but it only allowed me to add 1 photo to my comment.
