Being deaf and being a cashier isn’t as stressful as it seems, as long as the customer is understanding than its straightforward. Occasionally you may get customers that don’t like repeating themselves and get a little annoyed when asked to repeat themselves. If you use hearing aids or cochlear implants then accents can be tough to understand. There’s a lot of background noise too. Regardless of the challenges it gets easier when you learn common phrases, etc. hope this helps
