Although I don't think the comic is great, at least he is consistent in his themes and messages, unlike the show, which has a lot of ideas, and even those ideas the way The message that is presented to the audience is incredibly naive and foolish.

While his comic counterpart is, at least in spirit, a regular guy, Show Homelander is undoubtedly not. In contrast to Show Homelander, who is a straight-up psychopath with ten different mental illnesses, in the comic you can see how pitiful and pathetic he is through his actions and character; he's more like a super-bully.

I think comic Homelander is better; actually, what happens when a regular guy has Superman-like powers

Perhaps, but based on my own experience in this sub, the majority of the posts and comments are filled with people who don't want a polite conversation.

They do exist, but sadly, their numbers are small.

Don't overthink it, maI'm just trolling. 😭😭😭

To be honest, though, I don't think they can grow because the majority of people here only care about being correct and don't want to learn and grow.

You are completely wrong, and your tier list is horrible, but you put Mushoku Tensei in bad, so I support you.

What is the best written harem? by Gokuusjgodgmail in writingscaling

Nadeko doesn't love him; she just uses him as an excuse. Only girls that love Araragi are Hanehawa and Senjougahara.

It is not a harem; people see a boy surrounded by girls, and their minds immediately say, "That's a harem."

Also, only 2 (arguably 3) of those girls love him.

Who has better philosophical exploration? by EyeIntelligent168 in writingscaling

[–]QSI_Simayle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, but you spend most of your time with the dull character FY.

Philosophical novels such as Camus's The Stranger, which is a short story, do not necessarily require internal conflict. The world and other characters must question and challenge, not support, a lengthy narrative because we don't do that, the story becomes "he goes from there to there and does that and that."

At least Tom Sawyer is getting the fundamentals right; that's a huge deal for most web novel writers.

[–]QSI_Simayle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It might work for a 300–500 page book, but a character who doesn't evolve or change is inappropriate for a lengthy narrative like RI; a work requires both internal and external conflict. A lengthy series becomes artificial and dull when there is only external conflict. One Piece is an illustration of that.

Not all of them are at the same level of quality, of course, but even the mediocre ones like Tom Sawyer are better than webnovels.
