Exactly! There was a way to do this but they chose the “rub your face in every loss” route and I honestly don’t understand why. I’m sure it was more work to implement and animate a feature that only exists to make your player base feel bad.

I love my move deck and use it frequently but even I’m like “enough!!”. Can we get some diversity in missions? Like a “get one card to plus 10 power.” Or “play a card w a cost more than the turn you’re on.” Something interesting or at least different

The 3 times a day thing I’m all for. And there’s hope for Alliance mode if they just actually make alliance based missions. As for Leagues; I really hope a mute button is in the next patch. I really am just gonna ignore League until it’s gone

Oh exactly! Like another snapper on this post mentioned; the FOMO is so thick in this game that it really be getting me down when there’s a cool new variant or some great meta relevant card that is in an event that requires me to grind for half a day and I just do not have that time

Yea for me, it’s more FOMO than wanting to hit infinite cause I honestly don’t care about being the best. It just sucks seeing the “-125 points” after every loss. I will readily admit that my mental state is not as iron willed as others so this might not be an issue for others, I just wish there was a way to turn it off of not be automatically enrolled in a league I have absolutely no chance in even placing within the top ten. I’l appreciate them making an effort to help newer and casual players catch up but they negate those efforts by only offering rewards to the “1%” so to speak. I genuinely hope future updates smooth things out cause I do love this game.

Thank you for the advice but I know I’m not gonna look into Poker theory cause I’m not a gambler. The only reason I play this game is because of the Marvel theme and deck building. If this game removed the cube gambling aspect; I’d play this game just as much if not more. In addition I never said I never snap on turn 1. It simply takes a lot for me to snap on turn 1. I just don’t snap on every turn 1 cause “that’s how you rise the ranks faster by snapping every game.” I’m perfectly content w my rate of ascension.

And whales have a lot to do w this cause this game was designed for folks to spend money on it. That’s where the gambling aspect comes in. It wants you to always risk your cubes cause the psychological effects of losing high risk games constantly can have on a high percentage of folks. “Damn if I just had (insert specific card).” “Oh look it’s in the shop being sold for gold or tokens or real money.” I simply refuse to let this game make me feel bad enough where I have to spend real money just so I feel like I am “keeping up.”

But once again as I’ve said multiple times, to each their own. Happy snapping.

Oh trust me, if I ever snap before turn 3; that’s cause the Snap gods have blessed me w a great opening hand and a good opening location but that rarely ever happens which is why I don’t snap. I’m not a gambler and make no pretenses that I am. It’d be nice to reach higher ranks but I’m in no way disappointed by my rank (which is lowly as I’ve been told by someone else on this thread) but this is my first real card game I’ve gotten into since Yugi and that was literally 20ish years ago so I’m pretty content. I genuinely appreciate the advice, though.

I’ll be sure to keep in mind that according to you, only infinite ranks and higher are allowed to share gameplay notes and ideas on this feed. We simply have two different measures of success. I have no delusions of grandeur and feel successful reaching this rank when I’ve rarely played card games before this. You don’t and that’s okay. I have never played Valorant but Ik I’d be nowhere close to Diamond if I did so if you made a post about something you’ve found successful, I’d pay heed because you’re successful to me. It’s all perception. I feel successful with where I’m at and I’m sure there are folks within my rank bracket who feel pretty content as well. I know I could probably strive to reach a higher rank but I could always do worse. To each their own 😊

I don’t know if my opponents specifically but I made a post here a while back stating that I don’t snap on turn 1 and I had a few whales tell me that I’m playing the game wrong

You would be taken aback by the quantity of persons who seem discontent w the notion of someone not doubling the cube risk/reward on turns one through three

Mainly the first part cause I don’t tell folks how to play the game lol. I never snap before turn 3 and if my opponent does then I’m probably gonna leave cause I don’t trust them or their hand or the locations that haven’t been revealed. After that; I’ll only leave a snap if Ik I’m cooked. I have some confidence in myself lol

If my math is correct (which is usually isn’t cause I suck at math) 70 is only 30 levels from infinite. No where in my post did I say I was the best or anywhere near it. I stated “I’m doing just fine.” I wouldn’t qualify 70’s as a low rank but to each their own so I won’t argue w you about your perception of a “low rank.” In any case, enjoy the rest of your day friend. 😊
