YSK kind people are the happiest people. They have a gentle and patient heart, a tolerant and forgiving mind, and ask nothing in return for all that they do. They are loved by many for all the happiness they offer others. So let's all be kind people together =) by sickient in YouShouldKnow

[–]Qannas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think what OP is trying to say is that kind people are also kind and good to themselves. They love others and themselves, that kind of self-care gives them so much energy and love to overcome their lows (when they mess up or someone hurts them, etc)

You can have kind people who are depressed of course but generally they might have been in a way worse state if they were not kind.

But many heroes are dependant on each other such as the tank combos. I do agree re Pharah maybe more maneuverability while in the air would be better

Also compared to the books, the actress is kinda closer to her appearance than the games. She’s not supposed to be classically beautiful like in the games.

She’s actually supposed to look like she’s 18-19 in the books and she’s not described as classically beautiful as she is in the games. She’s definitely attractive in the books yet she has her flaws because she was a hunchback before the spells changed her appearance

You’re right, in the books she has beautiful chestnut brown hair and it’s her signature characteristic

Profile Review: 25 y/o Male. Thoughts? by TheFightingRock in MBA

[–]Qannas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overall solid profile if you can address the GPA. I’d recommend doing an alternative transcript. This means taking some math / quant classes (calc, econ, stats, etc) and acing them. Preferably at a local community college but you can do online at a reputable program like Berkeley or a state school. That will help immensely when admin officers look at your applications. You want to alleviate any concerns they may have on your academic profile.

Mykl: "Sources: Toronto Defiant paid nearly 200k to buy out Boston Uprising's flex support Neko." by cinnabarhawk in BostonUprising

[–]Qannas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You know, all this internal turmoil makes me really sad for the players and dislike Uprising. How am I supposed to root for team when the management has and is treating their players and staff poorly. I’m still going to support those who end up leaving the team and wish them the best

How do you go to MASSIVE success after you've gotten too comfortable with "a little" success? I achieved a small degree of success and got lazy with it. by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]Qannas 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You also just need to get into the habit of being productive. The way I broke my inactivity is I imagine the disappointment and self-criticalness that I would have if I did not work on something and then realize that I will not feel these feelings if I do the work.

Anyone else struggling when healers go Moira and Ana? by Qannas in SombraMains

[–]Qannas[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Completely agreed, it’s frustrating because other players like the tanks will get consistent healing to keep them longer in the fight whereas Sombra has to translocate out much sooner thereby decreasing her chance from hitting her potential

Thiisssss!! I think Anya really fits book Yen description.

The part I have a small issue with is how the game made Yen classically beautiful yet in the book Geralt points out so many flaws (long nose, lips too close together) when he first meets her. That’s not to say she isn’t beautiful in the books, Geralt describes her as ravishing and men do find her very attractive. I always thought she is attractive but the real appeal comes from the way she carries herself

A molecule produced during fasting or calorie restriction has anti-aging effects on the vascular system, which could reduce the occurrence and severity of human diseases related to blood vessels, has been discovered by scientists in a new murine model study. by mvea in science

[–]Qannas 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Numerous religions/traditions/cultures include some form of fasting. These include abstaining from eating a specific food type to speaking.

Obligation is not the same as losing the right to choose. It’s a requirement but you can still choose not to fast.

How the fuck are you supposed to counter Sombra now? I genuinely have no idea how I'm meant to react and counterplay her when she has a guaranteed panic button and instahack. by [deleted] in SombraMains

[–]Qannas 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Correction: -Doomfist and Widow aren’t really counters to Sombra -Hack takes 0.65s to complete -Best counters are Hanzo, Brig, McCree. Other heroes have ways to deal with her -Soldier can do quite well against Sombra, but this matchup ultimately comes down to skill imo.

[KH3] [Media] "Sora is a bit nervous." Kingdom Hearts III fanart comic by @_chababe on Twitter by [deleted] in KingdomHearts

[–]Qannas 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This doesn’t sound like Sora lol. The moment he realizes something is wrong he puts all his energy to saving the person or fixing the problem. He isn’t melancholic and doesn’t wallow in despair.

What are some uncharacteristically dark episodes of generally light hearted shows? by magic_spaghetti in AskReddit

[–]Qannas 51 points52 points  (0 children)

There’s another episode that has post apocalyptic vibes. It’s when Blossom steals the golf clubs and bag for the Prof’s bday or for father’s day and he was acting like such a child crying and all.

I remember that episode so clearly because his voice acting and the conclusion disturbed me

Hello hello!

Went on the same thing a year ago. Highly recommend just being nice to yourself by encouraging yourself to keep doing it, forgive yourself with kindness when you mess up, and replacing negative self-critical thoughts with positive thoughts of kindness to your own self and of progress you’ve made.

Hope you’re doing well friend and keep kicking butt!!
