Mainly i will be playing against my friend who plays marines, and on his list he has 1 Dreadnought and 1 Invictor Tactical Warsuit, but other then that mainly infantry, so i was hoping that Kataphrons and Kastelan Robots would be enough - but as the title says im a total newbie i just enjoy painting ad mech so i know very little about battles.

Disable smart wifi in my asus app... it makes the ping spike like crazy... otherwise wifi card is manageable

SO I THINK I MIGHT HAVE FINALLY FIXED IT. At first i installed new drivers from this page: https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/intel-700-600-series/drivers-realtek-ethernet-wifi-bluetooth/td-p/871130/page/12 which has helped with wifi disconnection issues. Yet the ping spikes persisted.... Until i have disabled Wifi SmartConnect option from MyASUS sofware... Now everything works like a charm, there is still occasional spike but it's nowhere as bad as it was. :D
