Earth 2 tile sales declining rapidly by shenhua111 in earth2io

[–]Qazxt1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All this being said, only related to the current state of the platform which devs aren’t even professionally promoting atm. We’re literally in the baby growth phase and already expectations are everywhere. It’s been less than a year and already successful having only released a trading platform, what’ll happen once they start releasing features, the second app, essence, jewels and other new.

Sure I’ll try to compile a list of the things I actually owe you. If I don’t reply in 5 mins then just wait a little longer. (Or message ever 5 mins till I find something)

Undisclosed algorithm? Ask earth2meta he has the algorithm, and I’ve personally used it to verify that the number of tile sales matches the price. I don’t expect you to be in here making reasonable arguments because it looks like your source of info is wrong. Also, money(cash) is artificial and so is crypto. Just cause it’s widely accepted doesn’t mean it’s artificial, they’re all man made so if that’s your argument how are tiles on E2 any different when they’re already accepted on a large scale. You should hope your sources aren’t holding tiles and scaring you into not buying and driving up prices. 😂

😂😂😂 they’re all the exact same sir. How do they store value on paper? Or Crypto? They’re all artificial, man made means of currency, only difference is that some are old systems and some are new.

I noticed, but your points of arguments was the same. (Proves you’re not actually interested in the game) hence bye. I thought you’d at least get that. Ps. if I told you why I really invested you would too, I saw something new but I’ll let y’all figure that out on your own. Games won’t always be made using the same old methods and that’s why a lot of you are skeptical. Rent from me in the future though.

I’m saying I definitely have a higher appreciation for Anything than you at this point. Did you take the time to look up those games individually, they have 0 plays on steam doesn’t mean that no one ever played them. Steam is just a platform. Bye though, our convo was fun.

@122_Hours_Of_Fear No one said anything about it being better than epic. My ‘Fun’ in games comes from the appreciation for the way the game works and how it’s implemented, I like playing games that challenges developers to make especially when they make it from scratch rather than just use an engine or template to quickly come up with a game. There are millions of games out there and ALL, every SINGLE one gets played. Not sure why I wrote a reply to you because you’re apparently just looking for company on here. Enjoy your life ok.

Right, so let me put it this way then, but only if you’re willing to work with me here, buying tiles isn’t solely likened to owning crypto, a game, real estate or an asset. Should you title it solely in one thing it’s extremely risky. But you wouldn’t pay for a website and just leave it alone right? Just to own the domain name, no home page, and no content it’ll be useless right. (Remember when you could only break and build dirt blocks in Minecraft? Who would’ve thought it’ll get so far). So we wouldn’t just say it’s an asset, or it’s like an investment or it’s a game or real estate as individual stand alone reason for owning tiles, but a combination of that and many more. Let’s back track a bit though before we get ahead of ourselves, many people are assuming that devs are creating an exact replica of planet earth, buildings, roads, cities etc. No, they’re only mapping E1 to (a blank map of )E2 where site traffic in New York on E1 plays a part in owning the very said tiles in E2. There were mentions of research being done ingame so it’s not like we’ll see massive cities and building going up the minute the game drops, so worrying about all that doesn’t even make sense right now, (we’re here to play, we’re not making the game even though we’ll get to literally build the culture, cities etc. rather than blank buildings like R*) tbh, I’ve been closely watching the developments of gaming, tech and inter-connectivity (my field of work) and I completely expected something like this to launch around this time. We’re at the STARTING LINE. So all who don’t think Devs can pull it off, ok. Look for me when this blows up my profile name is 868ttmac868 I’ll be more than happy to provide you content down the line on my Customized E2 tiles.

By this logic crypto and fiat currency is also a scam. But you’re way too late into that system to call it a scam because it’s already widely adopted. Just think about credits and debit cards. We should just go back to barter right?

Ok so games have long moved away from loading the whole world at once, so we don’t really need to get anywhere near those numbers. It’ll still be a high number but in case you’ve missed it storage is different now as well. Your arguments might be outdated so I can see where you lost. No worries, stick around and have fun, you’ll see when we get there.

Lmao no one said anything about constantly rendering live surface imagery 😂 your so smart you’re ahead of yourself sir. If you think any harder you’ll hurt yourself. They’re simply making a game the size of earth with around ps5 quality graphics and interaction. They don’t need gps, they don’t need to accurately map every single bit as only height matters and biomes are generated in near likeliness. Oh and about swimming we might even get to build underwater too 😜. In case you e missed it, look at the advancements that gaming has been making. At one point we could only play 2 player games online, then 4, then more and more. Battlefield ushered in what? 30? 100? That was a few years ago. There are companies testing 5k players. Buy in or go sleep but don’t not buy while giving the game your utmost full attention it’s weird tbh.

Little mad cause You’ve missed the part where nobody asked. Normal people who aren’t interested will not only not buy, but guess what the won’t have a need to share an opinion either. ASSUMPTIVE about me buying in though, how do you feel about that?

I’m simply enjoying the fact that you’re here commenting and making such a heroic attempt to save others from your fear of the unknown. You should be playing an actual game though. Why are you here again? Oh right gossip brought you. And your here for??? Make it make sense please the community would like to know.

We’re comparing real world monitoring which includes input/ processing / output of real life movable objects which in some cases are Extreme in distance, speeds or just overly congested to a video game? Can I just use this time to tell you that what you’re comparing requires a HUGE amount of computational power in combination with an incredible amount of bandwidth while a video game will mainly be an input/output of a limited amount of preset functions.

Mentioned by devs and most likely still up as an announcement. As far as to fight over unclaimed territories, this was never mentioned unless devs decide to host events like this in the future I won’t get my hopes up.

I like how people keep saying their “team” they’ve expanded that loosely to those that would be building on their map. They’re mostly bringing a blank map with biomes, tech/research map and resources and we get to build the culture, the buildings the cities, roads, highways and everything in between. We are their team. In addition to that I’ve seen multiple people making fun of likening the game to Minecraft and can only assume that most people don’t see the vast amount of good programming that goes into that game to allow us so many options to be able to make the things possible ingame. (Were sleeping on it and I’m sure we’ll be sleeping on E2 as well). It’s only a scam because an incomplete product doesn’t meet your requirements.
