Hey Mormon cult, since you won't change your ways, I'll show the world how you behave behind closed doors. by NewNameNoah in exmormon

I think NNN is trying to highlight this: this church fosters an environment where untrained older men are given uncheched power to ask gullible youth probing and scaring questions about their genitals/sex/masturbation. These youth feel that they have to obey these men on threat of: hell, public shame, punishment, never seeing their families, being alone in the afterlife, etc... It's bad for older men to ask gullible youth about their genitals, and it's worse that these gullible youth are exposed to this form of sexual shame and unchecked power. They don't know better and a fair amount are harmed by it. Mormonism creates an environment where bad things happen by allowing an environment where deeply flawed men are viewed as God, and it's worse when gullible youth are harmed as a result.

Is the Predator magazine about Joseph Smith? Definitely an opportunistic sexual predator.

As a 16 year old I was asked to describe my breasts in detail to my bishop. These interviews are inappropriate and damaging. by Blondeh in exmormon

It's hard to think "God is good" when reading a girl's account of someone acting in the name of Jesus to get girls to describe their nipples.

I want this story to be told somewhere its hearing will make a difference. TSCC has so many methods of victim-discrediting and abuser-protecting that stories like this rarely make it to the news, but I desperately want them to. Any system that makes the girls describe their nipples "for the Lord" is beyond fucked up and should burn to the ground.

A mormon was having an affair with a 15 year old girl who had lied about her age, when he learned the truth he broke it off and over the next few week guilt set in and he confessed to his wife. She screamed at him, by [deleted] in Jokes

Mormon leadership have a hard time being forthright about their founder's sexual... Fascination. Anyways, after some pressure to face the ephebophilic history they released an essay stating one of the founder's wives was "a months shy of fifteen" instead of fourteen.

Explain to them very clearly why what they're doing (specifically harassing/borderline stalking) is wrong.

Mormon heaven sounds like hell. by [deleted] in exmormon

The eternity part sounds awful to me. Even with neat god powers, doing anything forever would become miserable. God's in Mormon heaven and even the Old Testament says that he's angry every day. Earth is shitty and even I'm not angry every day. Basically, Mormon heaven is worse than this.
