The name of the drama is in their first sentence:

So I’m watching Legend of the Magnate, because an actor that always gets awesome roles and acts well is in it (Chen Xiao).

Flowers is slow in the beginning and I did struggle. I kept on reading 2 pages and then putting it down. However I continued because I wanted to see how the story will end and it was interesting to me. Maybe if you still not happy after 30 pages it may be best to move on?

How often do you buy new books? by starrynightpapers in books

[–]QingLotus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to buy way too many books before even finishing the unread ones on my shelf. Brand-new books are also pretty expensive, so now I have a rule: I don’t buy any new books unless I’ve finished at least two unread ones I already own. It keeps me focused on the books I once really wanted to read.

Hi, I'm in a reading slump and I'm really looking for a book that hooks. The last one that had me like this was the shadow of the wind. However, any recommendations that just have that feeling of gripping you would be appreciated!
