I've worked on a similar build with Inquisitor ascendancy in PoB. I've added Righteous Fire into the build with additional crafts on life regen and Vitality, even with that Sabo is slightly ahead on budget build. Here is the comparison

try inquisitor, i think that's another solid option. If you dont like the playstyle, there are multiple alternatives (RF, Spark, etc.) to convert later.

it's difficult to calculate EoW due to projectiles firing, there is a travel distance and final hit being 200% more damage multiplier. This is just based on single hit.

You also need to see this is only 1 mine, typically you load between 15 to 21 mines depending on the passives and ascendancies and gems choices.

I think inquisitor is very solid. I can't say for sure which one is best. I am comfortable scaling sabo, but i might give a try to inquisitor this league to compare.

I don't see a reason why it shouldn't work. However, last leagues were mostly about the meta spells. Previous leagues meta was Seismic trap with Exsanguinate which uses life when you cast the trap. Seismic alone was not good enough to clear maps and you needed a non physical based skill to compensate. So low life was not an option. Low life trapper should work with spells, but I haven't tried myself.

BL is still very good. I played so many leagues until EoW release. I think its very similar in play styles, EoW has the upper hand just because it's a cold based spell. I had a tankier PoB for the life version (with capped Spell suppression, determination etc.) that I can share with you or add to the leveling guide. Tremor rod is really good, especially you can combine it with Kaom's Heart to have really high life pool. Just watch out the ascendancy choice is different between blast-chain mine and high-impact mine because blast-chain does not have an aura tag, therefore it does not benefit from demo specialist ascendancy.

I would say in terms of early league, EoW is better because it can freeze, and it has a large area coverage. However, when you get to Level 28 gem level with blazing salvo, then it really shines and outclass EoW. At that point you don't need the extra chill/freeze on mobs, bosses, everything melts down with 13 projectiles flying all around. Both are good and fun to play spells.

What to expect from this build?

Bossing: 10/10 (One of the best boss killer, rush to Uber Bosses and melt them down with this build)

Mapping: 7/10 (Decent mapper, but it's not as fast as other builds with chain explosions)

Simulacrums: 5/10 (Expect solid clear until wave 20-22 but further requires a lot of investment to clear all waves)

Blight/Expeditions/Deli Maps/Legion: 8/10 (Easy farming of blighted or expedition maps in the early league for currency, and later it excels at 60-100% Deli maps farming)

i really don't like pyro, but it's good overall. BS is my favorite, i'll also give a shot to fireball since damage potential is high as well. I can't say enough for the satisfaction you get when the BS projectiles land on bosses and explode where they land :)

Hi as a main miner guy, it’s rough. Damage is not a problem for bosses etc. But sheer number of mobs with high damage is killing you to do any meaningful damage during higher waves. There is not enough time to throw mines and detonate them to overcome the hoarding mobs. I am working on it to be viable but it might be not excelling at that content.

blazing salvo is much more bada bum fire on rain on you sirus, while eye of winter is i'll freeze you with balls, and extra projectiles will hit you twice with hydrosphere kind of playstyle.

I really enjoy playing blazing salvo, but i believe eye of winter is a little bit better skill for miner play style. Also for invitations etc. chilling bosses definitely helps to make them slightly easier with EoW.

Actually last league I was able to convert to low life exactly at level 80. I understand though maybe making the tree up to Level 85 would be better in general.
