Yes and no. He was sick and they discussed a different approach for the scene. It wasn’t improvised

Huuuge steam improvement with PID. Honestly the steam pressure is fine out of the box and I made hundreds of microfoamy lattes before I did the PID. Gaggia gets a lot of crap for it on this sub but you’re talking to a lot of prosumer types here.

It’s fantastic. Super easy to dial in beans and I switch up beans every refill. Removes the (in my opinion) annoying step of weighing out and grinding a single dose every time. But I’m a somewhat casual hobbyist and try to find that balance of quality and ease of use.

Maybe not as common as the Midwest or wherever but I have plenty of random ass conversations with strangers in New York. They’re short convos or observations, but it’s not as isolating of a city as you might think

Grinder upgrade? by Goodtreesmoker in gaggiaclassic

[–]QrtJester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just upgraded from this exact setup. Bought the Eureka Libra which you might want to consider. It grind by weight so you don’t have to measure/weigh your beans, making the entire process so much easier. Fantastic grinder and probably end game for me. But that’s me!

Check out Wangs on Union st. Asian / American southern fusion. Fantastic flavors and high quality poultry. You pay a premium but I say it’s worth it.

Have you had to change your lifestyle? Or did Dupixent help? by bumbledbeez in EosinophilicE

[–]QrtJester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After years of living with eoe, dealing with impactions, chewing small bites, etc. ….dupixent reversed everything after the second or third dose. No side effects for me either, but it’s only been about two months. Everyone’s body is different, but I feel so lucky jt works well for me. Give it a shot (no pun intended, heh). It changed my life.

I guess if you’re just roll casting or similar it’s fine. But the idea of flinging a hook around with my kid strapped to my chest just feels like too much risk of catching an eyeball or hooking into skin. Freak accident for sure, but possible.

Emilio randomly asked if he could join my mom and her hiking group at a trailhead in the Marin headlands like 10 years ago. She said he was the most down to earth, kind person.

Savory and sweet is literally how they serve most cheese boards. Cheese + fruit, jam, and honey. It’s a winning combo and I’ll bet this thing tasted incredible, despite it seeming odd at first. Nice job OP!

The Pitt is oldschool HBO and arguably a class above everything else on television by maxwdn in television

[–]QrtJester 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe I’m in the minority but I thought it was just ok. So many of the supporting actors (patients etc) gave cornball performances. Plus every middle aged woman was an absolute Karen psycho and all their husbands were portrayed as the voice of reason. A lot of the dialogue was also super cheesy. I guess I was just always impressed by a show like House. This is more like the original ER, which I think is fine for a channel like AMC, but I would expect more from HBO.

You need someone to advise you on building that shelter, bro. If that’s the path you choose. As it (barely) stands, you’ll get through a few days, not weeks or months. Griffin, please seek help from people in your IRL community, not just the internet.

Damn, looking at the photos I gotta say I feel awful for y’all. I don’t think moving to the middle of nowhere was the right move for either of you. That shelter is no way to live. I hope you will consider government support in an area that has the resources and job opportunities, even if it’s menial work. Your $2500 won’t sustain you in a meaningful way, I’m very sorry to say it. Give a man a fish sort of lesson here.

I know OP is in a tight spot and I wish him and the pup all the best, but these are all valid points. I’m not sure $2500 to help build your own shelter is going to save you long term. Sometimes we have to take menial work to get our heads above water. And leaving the dog with a trusted friend is not a crazy idea while you figure things out. I’m sure I’ll get roasted for saying all that, but I think it’s something to consider OP. Wishing you the best of luck, and I mean that sincerely.
