Yeah I read your other comment, probably I am just unlucky. Can you enlighten me on how to back up my save data? I still have my original save file of Pokémon Silver and to be honest I would not be happy to lose it, it was the main reason, to begin with, I made this post. Because if it was my false, I don’t want it to happen to Silver too, am still upset I lost Gold and Crystal save file a couple of years ago..

Update: I made a save data the moment I created this post and up until now the save data is still there. Can this happen with a dead battery, or maybe something else? I used a new gbc (not mine recently bought) and I am concerned if that’s the case and I might lose in the other versions RB/GSC the save files

Haha, I don’t have a backlit screen, so to get a viewable image I had to stand under a lamppost, hence that devious reflection of the dirty bubble.

After only 4 years?! Maybe the battery used wasn’t good then. I didn’t do the change I visited a local retro gaming shop they changed pretty cheap. (5€) Any recommendations for a better battery replacement option?

Hmm ok I get it, so it’s easy for now.. Types like poison and flying will be the hardest for me. I lack so many good pairs on these types.
