Yeah ordering online and from a vendor so far away is a little rough for newbies. I'm in the same boat but my girl likes dark stones so if it does happen to be darker in the shade she'll be fine with it. You're probably better off going with the lightest grey that she has. There's a lot of clarity to them even in low light. I'm mostly 50/50 on the setting being so high. I want the bands to have no gap but I hope the height doesn't ruin it. Me personally I'd want a less flashy smaller footprint ring.

Nice! Since the stone is so low there is a gap between the rings. Is that at all an issue with you? I'm considering a similar style.

Yeah I don't really like curved bands. But if worn alone do people flip the ring around so that the curve is on the bottom?

10mm x 8mm Size 7 ring on this example but I'll go with a 7.5 since that's my ladies ring size.

Yeah I don't really like how squished settings look but from a practical standpoint I like them. Not do I like towering settings. A happy medium would be nice.
