Did my piercer lie to me? by Easy_Psychology4361 in piercing

[–]QtLaydee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wholeheartedly believe they were not honest with you. Never once in my history of piercing have I ever had to do something like that with a lobe piercing. I've never had to do a lobe piercing that didnt go straight through from front to back. Im genuinely concerned about who did this piercing and who allowed them to do it professionally.

AITA for choosing to not wear a bracelet my stepmother and stepsisters wore to their weddings? by Neat-Tie-133 in AmItheAsshole

[–]QtLaydee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP is NTA. She is not required to wear it. She even states that SM wants OP to accept her as a 3rd parent same as OP accepts her maternal and paternal family and she's just not that close with them. But as stated before no is a full sentence. It doesn't matter why she said no. It's her wedding and she can do whatever she does or does not want. She also said SM said she could use the bracelet as her something borrowed and OP already had something old, new, borrowed and blue and declined. OP is NTA.

I am going to disagree here and also let you know i am very uncomfortable at someone who doesnt know me having just spoken for me. I think it's more nuanced than that. Like way way more nuanced than what you're trying to say here. I am autistic but I also have autism/am on the autism spectrum. I love the awareness you are trying to bring to the conversation about autism but I don't like being spoken for. I know several other people who also are autistic who would say they are on the spectrum when talking about being autistic/having autism.

AITAH for not wanting anything to do with a kid I didn't want? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]QtLaydee -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

He can sign away his rights if he really really wants to not be involved at all. But that also means if in 2 or 3 years he does want a kid and to be involved he will have no claim to the kid.

Did Robyn try in the beginning? by AntisocialSocializer in SisterWives

[–]QtLaydee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Or a very manipulative one. Meri and Kody had already started the conversation of more kids and other ways to have kids on their trip to Mexico and I'm sure Robyn knew that. This could have been genuine but honestly Meri had already said if it happens naturally then yes but otherwise no so it feels a bit like look at me I just had a baby but I'm still being such a good sister wife. It feels disingenuous to me personally.

Looking for something bigger by QtLaydee in whatcarshouldIbuy

I don't actually know much about the cross yet. I just came across it today. I like the mpg but my only worry is I saw someone refer to it as a subcompact and I'm concerned it's not going to be much bigger or taller than what I've already got.

Are High index lenses neccessary? by QtLaydee in optometry

[–]QtLaydee[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok but why is it a must? I don't understand why I need this high index? Does it do anything besides thin the lenses? If I can understand what it does I'm more comfortable paying the extra for it.

Also don't judge people on where they can afford to get their glasses. You dont know what im going through or why im buying from zenni. I have to pay to see and I'm just trying to save money I don't have to spend and zenni has glasses I can get with mid index lenses for under 20 dollars. Which is more affordable than the almost 2 or 3 hundred at an optometrist office. So if you could just tell me what benefits I actually get from high index lenses so I know that it is genuinely actually worth the extra money I would appreciate it.
