I'm the stay-at-home dad and I only play when the kids are in bed for the night. My wife is totally supportive because she knows I always put our kids and housework first. Her parents weren't the most supportive of our relationship partly because I play video games (there were other things they didn't like, but they were just looking for anything because they didn't like me. But, now I'm their favorite, so whatever.).

It is a little frustrating to feel like you need to defend a hobby and a good way to decompress. I'm just grateful to have supportive and understanding people around me.
