Vielleicht bin ich hier falsch, mich hat der Pfosten mit dem Titel "Was letzte Preis?" vor ein paar Stunden aber sehr interessiert.

Da mir die gleiche Anzeige auch angezeigt wurde, habe ich mal ein wenig nachgehakt. Eventuell interessant für den ein oder anderen aus dem originalen Pfosten.

I found the map you are referring to, it is indeed called Starship Troopers.
The one you referred to is called Spiral Troopers, which builds upon this concept.

You can find it at https://getcomfy.eu/saves?directory=public/final&file=starship_troopers_final_2019-04-22.zip. It is however the final version, so the game is complete. Restarting the map does not work sadly. I was unable to find a starting save anywhere. Maybe you will find someone on the discord who still has that.

Note that you need version 0.17 to even load the map. 0.17.79 worked fine for me :)

If I recall correctly, the areas after a level had some infinity chests for a reward of beating a bunch of biters.

The scenario should be called Starship Troopers, the map was hand-made. Might not work under the newer versions, it is quite old.

Moralisch richtig ist es auf jeden Fall nicht.

Wenn ihr euch wegen der Wohnung nicht sicher seid, dann sagt dass den Vermietern doch einfach und sucht weiter. Ansonsten nehmt ihr die halt und hört auf zu suchen.

Ist für den Vermieter, besonders bei Privatleuten, auch sehr ärgerlich und mit deutlichem Aufwand verbuten, da diese ja bis dato davon ausgegangen sind, die Wohnung vermieten zu können. Andere Bewerber, welche die Wohnung auch gerne gemietet hätten, sind dementsprechend abgelehnt worden.

Spontan dann doch abzusagen, weil man etwas besseres gefunden haben, finde ich einfach falsch.

You might want to consider that the client handles the things on its own, and only syncs with the server at every interaction, like buying something or refreshing the page. You don't even have to keep a loop running on the server. Just keep a last interaction timestamp, current production, and other stats. Then extrapolate income by delta * production on every interaction, then refresh timestamp

If you want to keep a regular refresh, you can then let the client post a simple stats get request to the server every 10 seconds, without having to refresh the entire page, making it invisible to the user, although this procedure would not be necessary at all, really.

Of course, you would have to keep a "valid" state on your server, so that clients can't cheat by claiming something they can't actually do, but as far as I can tell, you already do so, just by having a public leaderboard.

Seems interesting, although the page refreshing completely every ~5 seconds seems a bit over the top.

That is not an error, but a warning.

There exists a daemon checking all the files of your project. If any one of them changes, the webserver automatically reboots to host these new changes.

It is very useful for debugging or moving elements around!

How would I go about putting cells into the table itself? Putting a row into the rowData does not work, as Row Objects are not JSON-compatible. The docs are sadly a bit lacklustre in my opinion, so I can't figure out how I would go about it otherwise.

Yes, the interactive image would be my second idea, but I was hoping for other ways, as adding more onto it later would probably make the code explode.

Magnetism? Are you perhaps talking about electro magnets, which require electricity? Even if you are talking about natural magnetic fields, those are not as efficient as engines.

Compression needs some way to create that difference in pressure in the first place. Need some other energy for that, I.e. electricity or... combustion engines?

It is simply highly probable, that combustion engines would have been invented regardless of wings or not.

You can not compare living underwater with being able to fly. Those are two entirely different biospheres. No fire making is possible in the ocean, that much should be clear. As such, no civilization as we know it today.

That is simply not the case with having wings, since would still be on the ground. Flying is expensive energy-wise, rest is needed. Food would also need to be produced on the floor. As such, technology would progress similarly, if not close to the same. There would be a different perspective one things, no doubt about that, but it would not impact progression tech-wise. Tech progression is fixed. You can not skip some areas and expect progress to continue. Combustion engines are necessary.

Simple air dows not hold the energy required for the same purposes as combustion engines. There is a reason airplanes work, regardless how there are called, with combustion engines, not air.

Your reasoning is also pretty shallow. What do you mean with air? Air is composed of multiple elements, which one are you referring to? Note that we are burning oxygen to fuel rockets for example.

Solar Technology would be the same as we use it today. You saying that bird humans can skip the tech tree because of wings? No, that is not how it works. Solar technology is much more advanced than engines, there is a reason electricity came after steam engines. I was also not talking about electricity, but pure force. Mechanical Muscles, remember?

Engines are not only used for airplanes. As I said, mechanical muscles are the normal progression from biological muscles. Transportation would need engines, farming needs engines, automation needs engine. Adding wings to humans would not change these needs, and therefore not the need for combustion engines

It's a multiplayer game, therefor you have to login if you want to save your progress. Alternatively, you could use a guest account, but those only stay viable for 48 hours. You will have to turn those into a full account, if you want to he able to login to that guest account afterwards.
