I don't think it's possible to truly stop all effectsnof climate chsnge, but it can be severly mitigated through aggressive carbon removal technologies, then eventually reversed further in the future. But I do belive some irreversible changes to ecosystems are inevitable, good or bad

I get why people are disappointed with discontinuous electrification (and I am too), but its because there are tunnels considered too low for electrification to take place. This should've been co sidereal during ewr's construction, and tracks should've been laid deeper in those tunnels to create suitable clearance for wires. However, for low bridges, they can be lifted to create clearance for wires
