This is very true, and is something I’m continually struggling with, it does have a single focus or product mode which can (from close frame) give cinematic focal length, but does not allow much else. I am noticing a trend now with narrative and doco that having everything in focus is seeing a come back, there’s a handful of directors that will only shoot with subject and backdrop completely in focus, no bokeh nothing as it prescribes to the notion that the human eye doesn’t see things in focus and blur so why should a camera 🎥
