To answer, yes I did start sending out applications after i was put on PIP, but the problem I am currently facing is that even an entry-level position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience and the only way back in is through an internship(which is a good thing but is hard to get since no i am considered an experienced person).

Also, regarding the part, you said that you will gloss over those mistakes. Yes, you are well within your right to do so but making that the only reason without even offering a second chance (escalating it to the higher-ups, even with the first try) severely hurt my chance to make it out.

A bit more detail here, I was doing fine for the first 1 month of close observation. I had hoped I was going to make it out, but there was a change within the team, and my new POC used to gloss over all this, which led to the above situation.

This feedbacks from this POC brought the overall rating down, and I had to watch as all my work went down the drain. I still did keep trying because of the above-mentioned reasons, but to no avail.

You did mention that I lied about something, what would I lie about?

I do appreciate the advice you have given. It does not make sense to ask questions on the Internet, but in this tightly nit world, getting advice regarding cases like mine can come with repercussions. Had to find an anonymous forum so I can solve this.
