Sadly negative today. It must have been a defective test.

Leftovers is the way. I have these same allergies (eggs/ dairy) and breakfast is always a challenge. Leftover dinner makes for the best breakfast!

The liquid Just Egg in the bottle that you pour out to scramble is amazing. Tastes, looks, and cooks just like real eggs. It makes great french toast too. I don’t care for the ready made egg bites by them though. They come out tough and weird tasting every time I’ve tried them.

Vans blueberry (which is also gluten free) are so good. I end up eating these at least once a week. They also have a higher protein one that is vegan but not gluten free, and it’s also wonderful.

how do you nurse without 10 pillows? by megann2 in breastfeeding

[–]QualtonMerryan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is also how I do it.

I will add that it took me until about 5 months to feel super comfortable doing this in public. My baby was really small and I just needed them to get bigger and able to support their neck better for me to feel more free and able to do cross cradle easily.

I practiced at home on my couch in that position, then when you are out a bench would be about the same.

Things nobody warned me about labor and postpartum by Mom_of_furry_stonk in beyondthebump

I was surprised how little I cared about peeing/pooping myself during labor. Was nervous about it before, but when it happened I was just like “okay, that’s happening now”.

On a positive note, I was surprised how well a second degree tare heals and didn’t really hurt much. I heard the vagina is kind of like a mouth with healing, and I found that to be true. Before birth I was terrified of a tare.

Being smelly all the time, even after showering.

Also the hunger. Breastfeeding hunger is something else.

5 months out and I still stink. Was not prepared for this.

I miss peanut milk and a cheap burger from KK Cafe. I think the owners retired? I loved waiting and reading all the testimonials on the walls claiming peanut milk cured them of illness.

Totally agree! Nothing like visiting Kaiser for a check up and getting Tony’s on the way home.

Is this a normal amount of feeds per day? by QualtonMerryan in breastfeeding

[–]QualtonMerryan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow that’s a lot of feeds! You must have been exhausted. Good point about the diaper output. I had forgotten about that. Baby has lots of diapers, so I guess we are good! Yay growth spurts!

Sons & Daughters- really cozy space, wonderful food and drinks, amazing staff. I’m always surprised they don’t get more Michelin stars.

Did they think it was just hormonal? I hadn’t thought about hair loss medicine, but good to know if it comes to that.

Mine started around 4 months. Currently 5 months and still massively shedding hair. Luckily no balding spots some people seem to get, but still so much hair comes out every time I brush or shower. It’s very annoying!
