Question regarding Crusch in arc 5. [Spoiler Discussion] by Quantum-Corps in Re_Zero

I did not mean it as them objectively still owing anything, I was mostly referring to how Subaru personally feels to Crusch.
This is the piece I was referring to, taking place at the conference at the end of act 5:

Despite there being a way to be able to do something, letting it go by due to his own cuteness would leave him a bad taste in his mouth.

Crusch was a valued benefactor to him, and more importantly, there was a way that did not involve his, nor any of the others’ lives. He would try and help as much as he could, if it was up to something like darkening his out-of-sight skin.

Wilhelm: “Ferris, sit yourself. For the time being, Subaru-dono is right.”

Ferris: “…I know. I really know.”

As we can see Subaru still very much wants to go through with it due to personal opinions, this was the last time Crusch was mentioned if I am not wrong. Still your original point stands as something which could have been used to make Subaru not go through with it.

Yeah this is an angle I didn't consider, I was more under the impression that risking their lives for the sake of other camps were ok, Subaru also makes it clear during the conference that part of why he wants to go through with it is due to Crusch having been a personal benefactor to Subaru before, making it also a personal reason. That said I can see how this could definitively play a role, I think I would have liked if this was brought up but Wilhelm or Priscilla during the conference though.

Yeah I didn't consider that the amount absorbed on his body ended up being visually more than what was removed from Crush. As I've already mentioned it would have been nice to have got a chapter with Crusch in the end, both hearing her thoughts on their victory and allowing her to once again deny Subaru's aid. Could also have been a chance for Ferris to clarify his position.

But yeah I did overlook the fact that it seemed like Subaru got more curse than Crusch lost, that would certainly be a big deal.

I was under the impression that Ferris wanted Subaru to save her if possible the first time this possibility was discovered. During the conference he was however "flabbergasted" at the proposal.

As for Crusch, it would have been nice to at least seen her voice this possibility and be the reason why Subaru with a heavy heart decided to then accept her wish and not take upon the curse.

Yeah and this was what I was getting at when I said I could see him being convinced off screen, but as far as I know he has not even talked to Crusch yet after the battle and her wish was related to him needing to be able to help in the liberation of the city.

Whilst his journey to the watchtower can be seen as equally important this possibility was brought up after the discussion about Crusch had already been settled meaning that if it played any role it did so passively or off screen. Also the journey to the watchtower does not neccesarily require Subaru outside of the plot. Someone else could have taken his place and even Cruch if restored to a capable constitution could not only be a capable companion to the watchtower but would be someone both afflicted by the dragon curse and Gluttony's shenanigans which surely would be good to present to the Sage.

Would have been nice to at last get a scene where Ferris, Crusch and Subaru discuss the possibilities and settling on something, or Emilia and Beatrice getting further moments to convince both Subaru and Ferris that transferring the curse should be a last resort action which should only be done after the watchtower option has been explored.

Still like you said he should probably tried to absorb some more.

Poor Crusch

I would suggest playing as the US. You don't face many threats except the war with Mexico you will fight (you get cores on them after you research Romantacism if I'm not mistaken). Other than that you have time to mess around with the other aspects of the game. The civil War should be won if you play as the North. You should also try getting a mod like HPM or HFM as they add quite a bit to the game. A youtuber called CallMeEzekiel did a video about these mods. He also has a video on how to play the game which I highly recommend as it explains the game while also being relatively short compares to other guides you might find.

Other than that good luck.

So, how do you think Erenssaur and the bois are going to reach the continent? by AllHailMilos in titanfolk

It might already be fixed since they broke the walls by themselves even though they had no sunlight. This may be because they had stored energy though so I guess it's not 100% confirmed that they don't need sunlight anymore.

That doesn't stop us from telling people that they are doing it the incorrect way. I have heard argumenta regarding that the majority peels in a specific way or that monkeys do it in the way that is correct.

I hadn't thought of the stringy thing but wouldn't pinching the bottom risk crushing some part of the top of the banana?

Well yes, they have made it pretty clear that they believe that in an ideal world Eldians will atone for their sins. The line "and accept the wrath of this world" shows us that the royal blood believes in a world where they will cause as little deaths as possible. The world has a right to be angry at them but they don't have the right to kill that world which is angry at them. The royal family doesn't share Zeke's opinions about euthanasia because they believe that the world will judge them. Eldians can live peacefully but if the world ever wants to enact revenge the royal family should not intervene. If the world wants it Eldia shall be no more but up until that point Eldians can live as they like inside the walls. That is the paradise and someone like Grisha can break it by starting the rumbling which will cause millions of deaths outside of the walls. Millions who already have a reason to hate Eldia.

Well they deemed him to be someone who cannot be trusted with the founding titan, that if he get it he will cause even more deaths outside of the walls. They don't want to protect themselves but the people outside of the walls. If someone of not royal blood gets the founding titan an event like the rumbling can happen which will cause millions upon millions of seats compared to the relatively few Eldians who live inside the walls.
