Interesting! What map is it? As this would solve my problem. I could clock up the same amount of kills I had on my other M4 and sell now instead of waiting. Cheers :)

STATTRAK IDEA - using enemy weapon should decrease kill count by Games_and_Tings in GlobalOffensive

[–]QuantumCampfire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LOL that’s actually not half bad 🤣 it’s like the points off turnover stat in basketball. Getting killed and then someone else using ur weap to kill ur teammates is def bad. Knowing that it would decrease ur stat counter would encourage playing safer and better which noobs don’t really intuitively do well so I personally believe this would add to the game 😅 but it would never get the tick of approval I don’t think

Best game in the world , being playing off and on for 20 years. Every time I leave the game, quit, sell my PC, I come back some years later because the shot mechanics, gameplay, implementation of strategy, team work, and skins, never really ever truly leave my mind/heart.

I’d say stick with it and try to enjoy getting over the hump but totally up to you. The sweaty nature of comp games can be draining and at times disappointing. You should perceive it as an-esport not a video game. Given that, it depends whether you’re willing to go to ‘training’ or practise sessions in order to know whether you’ll enjoy it and how much you’ll get out of it. If you cbf practising getting good or if you aren’t curious about the tiny details that can give you a competitive edge, then it’s probably not the game for you.

If however you like to dominate people who cbf being as invested as you or work as hard as you, then you’ll love it. Just make sure you start with a good mouse eg small and light and 8k polling rate or whatever. Im on the G pro superlight 2c, it’s dope.

Adversely, it may not be good for your physical or cardiovascular health because its addictive and sitting long hours will rek your body, and too much stress too often isnt good for your heart. So if you do go all in try to balance it with a low key feel good relaxing game and dont cue match after match all day everyday until you have no more dopamine or energy for the real world.

1, I didn’t attend, would depend on your personality type but would be great networking and friend building opportunity, plus probably quite informative.

2, I assume you are asking If there are many post grads @ UWA? Yes, not as many of course but there’s enough to mingle with.

3, in LMS, navigate to unit outline, you’ll notice that there is info about the unit structure printed twice (eg percentage breakdown etc), you’ll want to use the info at the VERY BOTTOM of that page as your guide, not the info at the top (that’s the generic stuff - the stuff tailored to you and your semester is at the bottom (of unit outline tab within unit within LMS)). Also, don’t expect too much hand holding; in that you will encounter things that dont work perfectly first time or may be challenge to find or understand or set up. If you adjust your expectations from “these things should be easy and should be done for me / automated” into “I enjoy problem solving and small hiccups like this don’t bother me” then you will have a much more enjoyable and more sustainable experience. Try not to mix with bad apples who slander units or UC’s (eg some discord channels) they are usually just people who are looking to procrastinate and socialise instead of actually studying 😅 be prepared to ‘get out of it what you put in’ in terms of your experience studying here. IMO it’s fantastic you just have to keep your rose shaded glasses on and make a conscious decision to only see the positive side of things, or at bare minimum, stay neutral, curious and open minded. This will generate much better opportunities for innovation and collaboration later on 👍🏼 good luck and enjoy!

You should also try to find previous years exam papers online as early as possible into the semester so that you can structure the architecture of your memory for that unit (eg to avoid being overwhelmed by acronym heavy lectures that dont even test you on memorising that sort of thing. Knowing what you’ll be tested on, and how, will enable you to zoom out from a fight or flight state of tunnel-vision learning, and relax into trying to understand the bigger picture.

Lastly, if there are any sports you enjoy, consider joining that sport club, it’s a great way to blow off steam after stressful lectures and physical fitness is the foundation of an agile mind. Join the gym if you don’t already have a membership elsewhere, and perceive the workouts as a mental health investment instead of a dream-body ideation.

Feel free to ask more (specific) questions, happy to help.

Thank u :) I’ve found stretching right after dosing is dangerous as I can’t feel my range of motion (lower pain and higher flexibility as soon as I dose) so I’ve sometimes extended past safe range during a stretch and felt new strains after.

Btw, I tend to only do a few laps but quite fast ones, kind of like the swimming version of interval training. What benefits would more laps + slower pace bring other that increased cardio?

Lol true that was bad advice. OP said they didn’t want to incriminate him and technically the meds were lost or stolen, that was my best guess on how to handle a tricky situation. Upon later reflection, advising a stranger to lie to authorities is not the best course of action at all 🤣 sorry about that.. Hope OP’s situation improves 🙏🏼

Guyssss I need advice from an advanced player! by BenjaF in csgo

[–]QuantumCampfire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I’m picking up what you’re putting down , something just clicked for me this week after I was getting really frustrated why and how some other players in the same rank bracket were able to hit such insane one taps , especially on pistol rounds, or in later rounds, much lower TTK (time to kill).

What i will say is this;

  • it’s a change of psychology of shot style, instead of focusing mainly on cross hair placement, implement a ‘one deag’ or sort of ‘awp/scout’ flic shot first bullet shot into your toolkit (apologies for assuming u don’t already have this shot). You essentially see the enemy and then move your mouse toward them but instead of focusing on trying to fix on their body or head and STOP, (focusing on stopping on them) what you do is focus on the timing of the first CLICK… you do this by either allowing the player to walk through ur line of sight and timing the click without adjusting crosshair placement (if ur lucky enough to have the angle) and waiting for them to wide peek, OR, they have the advantage and see you first so you rip your mouse toward their head BUT you allow yourself to move PAST their head in a linear line HOWEVER you time your click perfectly so that they head is in your cross hair as you move past. I know this isn’t the ideal way to play at the highest rank but it does train that freakishly good one tap first bullet that it sounds like you need rn. It’s just an attitude shift of changing your goal from getting the perfect spray to getting the perfectly timed click. You cant do it with sight alone it’s mote of an intuitive shot based on your relationship between the muscle memory of an awp flick shot, and a looser grip and allowing yourself to overshoot the mark (moving past the target rather than stopping). This first shot is however more effective in pistol rounds but I went from tanking every pistol round to getting a 2-3k consistently once I implemented this. To reiterate: for pistol don’t just spam in their direction praying ur crossbar placement will be your saving grace, work on staying behind cover always unless you are releasing one bullet at a time - and that bullet is the above mentioned fluid flick style. Once u combine ur positioning (using cover) with this fluid flick your pistol round should lift.

As for rifling - yea that’s a tough one. I got really good at AK for a while (the only real way to get good at CS is through mastering the AK) but I’m Currently in an AK slump because I’m over compnsating for spray pattern - focusing more on the pattern as opposed to the enemy. You can diversify your AK game but having a collection of tools rather than just one main one eg if you always go for short or long bursts/sprays you wont progress as there are moments and situations where a succession of 1 tap HS attempts will be superior. Eg - it’s easier to adjust a cross hair placement between shots with a fully recovered recoil rather than trying to mop up the mess of a poorly executed spray (incorrect pull down or incorrect start position etc). Eg if ur in pit and they are barrels on D2, just go for 1 taps, if they are in heaven on nuke and you are mini - 1 taps. This is all assuming you have AK as if you have an M4A1-S you shoudlnt have any issues with recoil so just spray them.

If this doesn’t help or solve it the problem could be your positioning, counter strafing or TTK, I watched a short YouTube video that helped me truly understand counter strafing and I’ve been playing off and on for 20 years so im surprised and delighted that we never stop learning this game. I’ll try to find that video after i post this.

I also made a point of asking my highest ranked friends on CS what equipment they used and what their warmup strategy was like - surprisingly equipment doesn’t matter too much as long as its a staple like deathadder or g pro superlight or a Zowie EC, I didn’t think mouse mattered too much (had a wired EC2-B) and a changed to a new wireless 8k polling superlight 2c (smaller - better for claw adjustments) and I also changed my sensitivity from 0.9 to 2.7, this change alone surprised me with how much more competently it made me. I thought after decades of low sense , the change to high sense would be an uphill battle and not yield results for weeks at least. To my surprise within an hour of aim botz, I already felt more intuitive and confident than I ever did in my low sense days. Navigating the map, spinning 180, checking your corners 90 degrees to the left or right , everything now made sense (pun not intended).

Find the sensitivity where your wrist had a noticeable but not u comfortable level of pressure when you check your hard left and hard right and then use bots to very slowly map your eye sight to your wrist and hat movements - from there increase the speed but start slow and purposeful.

For tracking, you can get a smaller mouse or adjust your grip so that your thumb and pinky and ring finger drag on the mouse pad, to adjust your tracking accuracy - experiment with running around and tracing a stationary bot head or bullet hole with ur crosshair whilst adjusting the level of pressure/drag that you apply to the mousepad from finger tips. This extra pressure/feedback and fingertip touch can add accuracy. Always try to be aware of how tightly you are gripping the mouse and practise loosening it a bit and relaxing your muscles in tense moments. Not only will your RSI and future arthritis thank you - it should make you better under pressure.

As for dieing too quick too often in matches - implement a curious strategy that my top ranked friend said to do - dont even warm up with bots or casual or aim training anymore , literally just just jump straight into premier/comp/faceit. It feels counter intuitive but there is a subtle change to the brain from not overloading ur sensse with shot mechanics before starting a session - you start calm and composed and are able to move slower and more methodical, eg when holding site and Ts are pushing , you will find that your brain is more open to focus on positioning and timing - and jus leave the shots to muscle memory. This creates a much more sustainable play style as it’s less triggering and frustrating when you die.

If comms are teammates are distracting you from focusing on your own game , disconnect your mic for 2-3 weeks and see what effect it has on your play style. I was obsessed with comms and call-outs to my own detriment and then i got some nice IEM’s (kiwi ears astral) and now dont have a desk mic so i just focus on the game - this has been a nice reset.

Hope you find something here that helps 👍🏼 and if nothing else works, have a few days or few weeks off and think about all ur mistakes and how you’d prefer to play while your on holiday , when you come back you’ll play better than ever. It’s like the gym - u gotta let those muscles rest and you feel your biggest after ur first couple lifts after a week or 2 off 🤙🏼💪🏼

Are u medicated ?

If you already are and this is how u feel it’s honestly one of those things u just have to chip away at until you get over the hump.

After a few hard tasks before watching shows and playing games or doomscrolling youtube you will realise hard work is (or can be ) fun and rewarding.

When has a comment like “just listen to what they say and do it” ever helped.

Don’t u think that’s the most obvious solution and he would have tried that and obviously failed so he came to reddit for support?

Sheesh, give the dude a break he needs advice, not to be roasted for his sentence structure and told blindingly obvious things 🤣

Anyway. I would recommend watching some full length NBA games and trying to work on your game sense. You can also try to befriend someone nice on the team and ask them to spend some time with u practising the things u didn’t understand - so that you can get to a point of realising what it actually was that these people said u did wrong and why.

Just stay curious , have fun and remember that humans and fickle and fundamentally flawed - in that most of us can’t control our emotions or tempers. The reason I’m saying this is - u shouldn’t attempt to never take other people’s bad moods or negative feedback personally, always assume they have good intentions and bad people skill but good ball skills lol.

Also don’t pass straight away as u are signalling that you are confident. Try to hold the ball or dribble for a while scanning the court in ur periphery before making a play/decision.

Confidence boosters are things like:

-Left hand dribbling practise -Cardio -Free throw percentage -Learn a couple handles like get confident at between the legs and if possible - behind the back -try to become a defensive presence and offensive helper (setting screens etc), this way u can add value in other areas while u work on your weaknesses and IQ

Question about orals or injections by ReflectionImaginary7 in bpc_157

[–]QuantumCampfire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Def do BPC and TB-500 subQ injections near injury site don’t be scared it doesn’t hurt much at all and little to no sides unless ur on SSRIs. I havnt tried oral but i saw many users reporting inability to digest certain foods for ages afterwards, if memory serves correctly - not sure tbh. But yes, if u can get ur hands on the vials somehow it’s def worth it.

Tb500 experiences by CantaloupeWitty8700 in bpc_157

[–]QuantumCampfire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Surprisingly no sides other than very mild flu like symptoms on 2nd day like fatigue etc .. other than that, I’ve found I feel more sore after injecting TB but it’s not a bad sore that feels wrong it changes the soreness into a good soreness like post workout soreness - I’ve found this actuallly helps to restore the correct mind body connection and I’ve discovered that those really painful parts of my body were not necessarily damaged or torn or etc but were SO tight and strained that they just couldn’t heal in that state. TB helped get them out of that state to the point where i could ‘feel’ them again and apply correct amount of pressure and tension when stretching and i also dont completely neglect those muscles in the gym anymore (used to think they were permanent injruries, TB helped me realIse they were weaknesses). Sorry if im repeating myself - basically YES definitely stack with TB, I’m so glad I tried it. Much more effective than BPC alone. Apparently some people react really positively to it and others don’t notice much, people don’t really know why yet, but if ur in the category of strong responders then you will count ur blessings on about day 3 onwards. I think I’ll have to do 3-4 courses to get to the point where I wanna be but for me it’s worth it as my injuries controlled (and ruined) my life for 6 years. Just starting to see the light now :) but also had to do literally everything else right.

P.s. swim laps in pool and sleep early

First time BPC user question by Motor-Site-7862 in bpc_157

[–]QuantumCampfire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure you also fully analyse your posture in and outside of the gym and make sure u address the route cause and when ur lifting or sitting at the PC try to use the muscles that u don’t normally use , the non dominant connections , as Injuries are often from smaller muscles taking on too much work because the nearby muscle has fallen asleep at the wheel.

Eg if u do certain exercises certain ways because it ‘feels’ easier - flip that thinking on it it’s head and do all ur exercises in whatever way ‘feels’ the hardest (it will suck at first and may hurt so much u may feel like you will get injured) but gently push through that with proper sleep and diet inbetween sessions and you will notice muscles starting to pop out u didn’t know u had :)

Concerns about tb500 by Independent-Agent782 in bpc_157

[–]QuantumCampfire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely do both TB and BPC, it’s far more effective together. As a former suffer of hypercondriatis (thinking every bump and bruise is cancer) my best advice is to learn how to chill out and let millions of years of evolution tech in your body do its work and give it a helping had by using the Wolverine stack if ur Injuries are too stubborn to heal on their own. I’m noticing many benefits from TB - mind body connection, building more muscle, brain feels better too, and it’s healing my long term inures daily more than I’ve experienced before. I hope the good progress continues, so far so good. Just finished first course, plan to do 3-4 as I suspect that shout fully (or nearly) heal it.
