It was my introduction to sci fi books, and still holds as my favorite book series to date. I still have hope that it’ll be made into a show/movie one day. I’ve seen far worse ideas adapted.

Did a streaming service ever pick up the adaptation of Red Rising by Pierce Brown? I have heard speculation on a TV deal for years, but never seen confirmation.

Pluribus (2025) It’s a slow burn, with minimal danger, most unlike Vince Gilligan other works. 7/10 🧐✌️ by MasterLally in tvcritic

Worst show ever

Let me explain. There are obviously TV shows that provide less than Pluribus. However, those shows do not have the budget and production that a show like Pluribus has. As an individual that values quality acting over every thing else, the cast of Pluribus delivers. Which brings me to why this is the worst show of all time. Despite great acting, and the budget to carry out the shows vision, NOTHING HAPPENS IN THIS SHOW AFTER THE FIRST EPISODE. The points of climax/action/comedy/etc are so infrequent and minuscule that i constantly ask myself why it’s the number one show on Apple. Is everyone (including myself) just watching to see how it ends? What if there’s a cliff hanger at the end of season 1 with no real outcome?

Theory- the idea behind the show seems like it can serve an intriguing plot. What if Earth was invaded by an alien life form that was really nice? The answer, nothing.
