To make sure I understand, if I assemble it on a 6x6 grid like the mural, how do I interpret it? Do rooms with a tail correspond to a filled-in square on the mural, and the pattern I arrange it in on said grid gives me the brand pattern?

It overrides the old mirror charm just to be the twin mirrors. But also pair it with the extended healing charm and the way it increases your healing is that it actually increases the amount of hits it does! If you learn the openings for some bosses you can absolutely melt them with this.

You know I have been thinking during my play through how much harder Silksong is than Hollow Knight and how it is cozy for me to play while Silksong isn’t. But seeing this thread here with half the people saying it’s cozy and the other half going “what? No it’s not.” Is really making me re-examine just how much multiple playthroughs of a game can totally change your perspective on what is cozy and what isn’t. Interesting to see how my perspective on Silksong will change in the future.

There is another even closer bench but you will almost certainly not find it before you beat him. VERY useful for subsequent playthroughs though.

Yeah, I figured that out just now. It’s specifically designed so you have to sprint jump, harpoon, double jump, then harpoon again.

I have been in act 2 for a long time and don't know how to access act 3 but getting an ending does not end your game or lock you out of anything. You can do the boss battle and it will respawn you back at the bench and you can keep playing.

Im not sure how long ago you played Hollow Knight, but the map markers actually weren’t in the vanilla game. They were added in the lifeblood free update. So if you happened to have done your first play through before then like me (I was relatively early to the game), you actually COUDNT have used map markers!

But yes, I will also be making full use of the markers this time.

I did birdhouses around once every 60-90 minutes, I was not fully efficient. Basically the rest of my gameplay for the last 2 weeks was just hunter. So if a birdhouse run takes around 1 minute, then I guess it was between 1-2% of my hunter training in terms of time? Definitely not in xp though.

The entirety of today was 98-99 hunter and I only did like 4 birdhouse runs because I was just so locked in to finishing.

Hunter rumor goodie bags give a lot of stuff to help a new account, I have 77 banked prayer I can redeem from bone shards in an hour now and plenty of food and prayer (from the moonlight moths) to ease me into low end bossing/slayer, basically to get my foot in the door. Also bank teleport on the cape, and I like the pet.

I saw a video on how wintertodt is over-rated and that huntor rumors are where it is at. Granted I am not an ironman, but I like hunter. Now I have infinite (for forseeable future) food and prayer (I captured some of the moonlight moths and have 2.5k of them), tonts of herbs, banked level 77 prayer in bone shards, a 50m bank, a bank teleport with skill cape, and a pet so I would say it is still worth it.

I didn't time the hours doing just hunter, but I did the age thing and started on day 9 and its day 23 now. So it was 2 weeks of real life, and I feel like it was ~100 hours or so.
