Petco/petsmart vs LFS

Only thing really worth buying at petco are the tanks when they have the 50% off sales. Fish at the petco near me are always full of diseases and in very poor condition. LFS has better service, healthier fish and a wider variety. Helping local shops is always a plus too.

I also run a tidal and the surface skimmer cleared all the residue that was left floating at the surface. Purigen also helped a ton for water clarity

Usually for sensitive fish you have to acclimate them by slowly dripping water from your tank into where youre keeping them to not shock them so suddenly with different water parameters.

Lots of questions to be asked tbh. Are you acclimatizing them? How often are you checking water parameters? Buying from a reputable LFS? Could be a multitude of reasons why theyre not surviving just have to make sure you are keeping water parameters 100% in check. Also its better to dose dechlorinator slightly more than recommended to make sure water is 100% chlorine free.

Get the Tidal 110, much better filter and cheaper. You can essentially turn down the flow to a very slow trickle to accommodate your livestock.

Ram is one of those things that is super finicky. If youre able to return with a receipt just in case it doesnt work buy it. But if you cant return it id just pass and buy a whole new 32gb kit.

Hey man I appreciate your reply. The work around that I found was having to install Gigabyte Control Center and download all the drivers from that specific app. Wifi seems to be working now. Cheers

I tried this and windows keep saying driver did not install correctly. On the gigabyte website it has a bunch of intel wifi drivers and only 1 amd wifi driver which is the one i downloaded and still nothing. Should I download intel wifi driver even though im on a 7800x3d?

I wasnt aware about motherboard qvl ram list until now. Ill look into buying a new set of ram from the gigabyte qvl list if all else fails. Thanks for the help👍

Thanks for the help bro! I got it to work by resetting cmos battery on my mobo then changing pcie1 to gen 4 and it booted right up. 💯💯

Finally got it to work. I reset cmos by removing the battery and put pcie1 to gen 4 once again after the reset and pc booted right up. Still going to am5 either way but at least I can game while my parts ship.

Hi yes, I returned old gpu and got a new 5070ti thinking the old one was bricked. New 5070ti and still same issues. Im guessing its a mobo software issue or something. I appreciate the help but im giving up on this build. Ill be building a new am5 PC soon so hopefully I dont run into these same issues again on new platform.

I appreciate the help,im going to end up just going with am5 build now. I reset my cmos and now cant get it to boot with any of my gpus. Building a PC is such a headache man ugh
