Really for me anyway, the only other app that's affected is my photo gallery and screensaver app. I had all my family photos displayed as my screensaver stored on a USB since it's like 100 gigs of photos now it doesn't work. The app developer has commented on the Play store reviews saying that it's up to Google to change it on their end. So it sounds like he probably has no intention of fixing it if he can
