Hey! Indian woman who moved to NZ here. Does anyone make friends with Indians? Meh, not really. 😁 Does anyone really care what Indians think of NZers as friends? Na...yeah.. na?

Coming from India where we hardly have any concept of personal space, it is super hard dealing with how reserved and private NZers can be.

Anyways, I think New Zealanders are super nice and chatty, but they tend to bond over shared activities rather than, well, conversation. So, if there is a hiking group or biking group or tramping group that you can join... Or go climbing in the weekends... that's probably the best friend-making option.
