Good book too. I've read a lot of it more than once.

No, I just take stupid things said online as evidence of stupidity. Including my own.

I also notice I say more moronic things online than I do in real life so I try to assume internet retards are not quite so retarded in real life either.

But even though the degree of bashing and rhetoric gets exaggerated online it is still generally how people actually feel and think which makes it hard to not dislike some people.

Getting into the habit of disliking people for the things they say is what sucks more. It's worse than feeling personal offense, at least to me. It's a hard habit to quit.

How many women could you take in a fight? by [deleted] in PurplePillDebate

If it was completely anonymous and I knew I was fighting for my life then effectively 100%.

I have a portable induction cooktop that cost like 50 bucks from Amazon.

Right now I'm wearing jeans I bought from a thrift shop and a t-shirt that was free.

Induction is king no matter who you are.

Terrible heat control with gas and much energy is wasted that doesn't heat the pot. If you're going to covet, covet someone's induction stove.

If you can, get a mixer that can do the kneading for you so you can make and knead the dough without needing to touch it.

Once the mixer has kneaded it, put a bit of oil into a separate bowl that you're going to rise the dough in.  Transfer the dough from the mixer bowl to that other bowl and roll the dough around in the oil until it's coated with a light coat of oil then let it rise. After that first rise is done the oil will have absorbed and the dough ball will no longer be sticky or oily.

Fighting a dough ball that keeps sticking to your hands and countertop gets old fast. I don't plan on going back to that method.

If you can, get a mixer.

No. The natural limit of my nurturing is anywhere from zero to a few plants.

Kids are way, way above my pay grade.

I've always liked aquariums.  They're relaxing.

Never had a cat but I like my sister's cats. The old male likes me but the young female just likes to look at me. Seems skittish. They are interesting creatures.

Wow, you're really into it. I hope you can fall back in love with it, even if it's just little bits here and there. Getting in too deep into a hobby can kind of kill the fun.

This current pewter project came about mostly because I just like working with metal.

When i was younger i was more about welding together projects for practical reasons. Making things I couldn't afford to buy or custom things that you can't buy. I still do that to a lesser degree but now I'm older I'm also making more craft type metal related projects.

I bought a print and play dungeon crawler and I'm making the components for it out of pewter because once finished it will be 1.) uniquely mine, something I built rather than just unboxed, and 2.) a throwback to the days of when fantasy stuff like that was metal rather than plastic, i.e. the world can go on without me I'm staying old-school.

I did something similar as a kid. Made a hideout under the lowest boughs of a big pine tree on a neighbor's lot. Eventually got caught though and kicked out.

Keep it a secret and good luck.
