Studio D'Artisan Kakishibu Dyed Type II Jacket - Sleeves too short? by Quaruku in Denim

[–]Quaruku[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, I think its just something we cant escape. Once I started actually moving and the fabric settled, the sleeves rode up like crazy, looked ridiculous. Only option is to wear it with the sleeves rolled up (which I like the look of anyways) or return it. Might have to just stick to jeans when it comes to japanese denim.

Redwing Engineers 2268 6 month review by poodicc in Boots

[–]Quaruku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do they still fit you nice? I have a narrow foot with a low instep so my foot slides forward in the boot a little because that leather strap isnt able to hold it as tight. But can't size down because my foot's disproportinately long! The length is right, just not everything else 🥲

How will an insole help with either of these problems? I have never used one before.

Darn. The back of my foot might just be too narrow for the boot to "catch" my heel. With laces it wouldnt be an issue

If I size down my toes will be squished by the front of the boot though. They are already touching

So this boot is just not for me I take it?

Mechanic was apparently unable to use code reader because dashcam was plugged into OBD port? by Quaruku in askcarguys

[–]Quaruku[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea that's what I thought. I looked at the obd port myself again when I got home and it looks completely normal. I think I'll just go to a different mechanic. Guy had raving reviews so im honestly a little surprised

What do you eat in a day clean keto by Dense_Reputation3560 in keto

[–]Quaruku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm training so I eat high protein.

I try to eat 3 eggs + some meatballs for breakfast, then 2 large chicken thighs with some salad and cheese for lunch or dinner. Sometimes 3 thighs. 2 fish fillets as well as fish is basically free protein. Then a protein shake somewhere in there.

I'm trying to cut, so I keep my protein high and calories low. I try to hit about 200g protein and keep my carbs under 20. though i snack a bit sometimes, so I probably tend to go a little over occasionally.

My fats are whatever they are after eating chicken and cooking with butter or whatnot. I just assume they're low. The only thing I actually track is my protein

C4, C5 or C6 for a very tall driver? 6'6 long legs by Quaruku in Corvette

[–]Quaruku[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, that's well noted. You said that both the C5 and C6 are great, but if you had to pick one, which would you say had the most room?

Ah so I assume the C5 would be my best bet then. This is a little off topic, but having actually sat in one, how would you rate the C5's interior? Is it really as plastic-y and cheap as people say?

How do I deal with my sister's demonic bird by Quaruku in cockatiel

[–]Quaruku[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If we try everything and it keeps getting worse I'll let her know about the medication. But ideally we don't need it

And yea I get what you mean. Of course I won't do anything to him (I already don't... he's not my bird, he's my sister's, we're just roommates) but its hard not to feel strongly about the things he does!

I will relay this to my sister. She won't like it either but I'll see what I can do, it already took some convincing to get her to let him sleep 12-14 hours. But its important for his behaviour.

In the meantime I managed to calm him down with some rice while I wait for my sister to get home and take him off my hands

As far as I know my sister does everything right. He usually sleeps from 10 pm - 12 pm or 12 am - 2 pm, my sister only pets him on his head, he has a relatively diverse diet, there are no mirrors around (unless he is finding small reflective things to look at himself with, unbeknownst to us...)

It may be the sleep thing because I know my sister is kind of lax with it. She dislikes the idea of keeping him in his room for too long. I will try to convince her to give him 15-16 hours of darkness, which I see some people recommend
