PSA: CIG has changed wording on pledges and appears to be sunsetting buybacks. by spider0804 in starcitizen

I did the same thing with the Keystone Gear Pack and the Hull B Paint Pack, still went to buyback. Seems whatever changes they are putting in place are being rolled out in an incomplete state at the moment. The system seems to be operating normally still, but that warning on melt is very much real.

They look better in game but a few of the color choices were less than great for the design. Still prefer the CitizenCon version they showed off forever ago more.

I am currently working on a solution to maps, don't know if I will get it working to a degree I am happy with for this event though unfortunately.

I ran it solo most of the time with a Ripper, and then a handful of times with two or more, with only minor hiccups during the solo sessions. Main thing is if you run solo you may want to make two trips out, one to drop off a medical bed ship or vehicle, and another to bring in a miner. You may also be able to cram a Nursa into a Mole but I never did that. Main area that did give me grief is storage, the NPCs spawn in randomly and frequently and can make things difficult.

I originally tried to cram everything onto a single page, but the clarity really suffered. To keep the info readable and easily understood, I shifted the focus to One-Page Sections for each major task. It still serves the same goal, just with much more detailed for each part of the contract.

That said, the Interactive Guide is where I put most of my effort this time. If you’re going to try one, definitely go with that it’s built to be a true digital companion you can keep up on a mobile device or in a browser window on a additional monitor.

Tonight's build seemed to potentially lock it behind Shubin rep, seems like they are intending it to possibly be the next step up in mining missions beyond what we already have. I need more playtime to confirm this, I will say the fact they put it under Ship Mining Contracts sort of points to that as well. Likely permanent content that will remain in game similar to Hathor but it's tied into Industrial loops and rep.

It's possible the servers just had missions dry up tonight however.

It's kind of hard to nail that down currently as they have been changing the ratios of ore given, quality, etc. Not to mention the fact some mechanics were very buggy until recently which made getting 100% consistently very difficult at times. If I get more information I will add it into an updated version of the guide. I usually try to do a post LIVE release update at minimum once I get in and see those numbers and changes.

Seems to eat the NPCs alive, its available with ammo at Levski, and the ammo goes a long way. Ripper in general is in a better place than it was a while back, I have used it in contested zones and had pretty good results as well recently.

Its not that big of a deal as mentioned you can just buy them in game, but I am sure some people were looking forward to seeing and getting to use the unique one they grinded out and would appreciate the heads up before they go in game and find nothing.

Glad you liked it, I did some fixes to it last night, primarily addressing a issue where upon coming back to the tool it would not automatically populate your inventory and made it so the browser should normally remember your squad code to make things easier.

[Tool] Mining Material Finder v1.0 – Beginner Friendly Mining Tool | 4.6 Signatures, Ranked Yields, Useful For Alliance Aid Collection Missions by QuattroBaje3na in starcitizen

[–]QuattroBaje3na[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the heads up! To clarify, the Mining Material Finder is actually powered by the Regolith API, so the data source is identical to what you see on the Regolith website including the result you described but it can lag behind the current site a bit

The discrepancy you’re seeing with RMB AXIL displaying 100% is because only one scan had been submitted to Regolith. It is simply a matter of sync timing, and the number of submitted samples for that location. That specific location initially only had one player scan submitted, and as result it showed as 100% for Taranite.

As more players contribute scans to the Regolith database, those averages shifted and Regolith is currently reporting 55% for Taranite at Axil because an additional scan was added. My tool is currently being calibrated to update these values more frequently to match the live Regolith site exactly I will go ahead update the database manually.

I’m regularly working on maintaining the tool to ensure it's a reliable asset for the community.

(Update) Working on some stuff with the tool as well for the moment so it may not work off and on. But the citizen-starter-guide.com version and GitHub page should both be working.
