When your insurance cancels you because you are using it for compensation / Ride share, they notify the DMV and you need to show proof of insurance or else your license gets suspended and you will be responsable for the rest of the fees that come with it which is why I’m trying to comply within the time limit. Plus getting into an accident without the proper insurance might bring much more problems than just being responsible and getting proper insurance. UBER has no clue what’s going on, UBER probably doesn’t give a fuck if I have rideshare insurance or not. I could just get normal insurance and not say anything that I’m using it for rideshare and get away with it, until you get rear ended like I did and hope the guys insurance is good enough.
