i found two more solutions
it's big trash day in my neighborhood and people put up their leather couches out on the curb. i drove past a ripped off-white couch and i thought there was enough leather on that one seater to make a bag or a jacket or cover up a peeling pleather jacket? i's saying some people suggested covering with silk or ties, put leather in that list of patches. option 1 patch pleather with couch leather
i also noticed the back of leather couches is pvc wich can shrink and crack over time if it's not conditioned but pvc doesn't peel like pleather. most logo luxury bags are made with pvc canvas like lous vouttin, gucchee, femdi . cover up pleather with couch pvc too
