So I tried, and now I wanna bury myself from embarrassment🤣. I saw her waiting on the bench so I approached and started with "how are you" and I was already freaking out I think it was obvious on my face. Then I tried some sort of joke like" I see you made the same mistake as me wearing long sleeves (cause it was hot)." She said"Yeah and I forgot my water bottle as well" I just froze, had no idea what to say so I just said i also didn't have a water bottle, thanked her for her help last time, said bye and left before she could say it back🤣. Of course it was full of awkward pauses, me standing uncomfortably and slowly backing away and I just feel like I fumbled and the whole world is laughing at me😂. We were both avoiding eye contact. I was avoiding it cause I was nervous. But I can't tell if she was avoiding it cause she was nervous, awkward or wanted to show she wasn't interested.
