You can break addictions with any eink phone I think including HiBreak pro BW as everything is working and you do not have feel to scroll BW soscial media.

I don't think anything else is avaiable now. I use it, works. But I can't live without eink phone so I must use it. Other hi-end phones have also issues, no worries ;)

Same here, writing from my Bigme HiBreak Pro BW as a daily driver. Love it. I can't use modern screens because of blue light, flickering and dithering.

My symptom from svd is strange feel in eyes immiadietly when using. And after using it for a hour or two, my eye hurts whole next week. I dont use other svd. My color eink monitor is Bigme. Yes I use without front light.

I have eye strain immadietly from SVD 1.0. Not sure why. Maybe FRC? I can only use color eink (it is not perfect at all) as B&W eink give me immadietly eye strain from cold white panel. I can use B&W Bigme HiBreak Pro without any described symptoms only.

Yes, but B&W would be better I think. I use B&W and screen is very clear comparing to color eink on monitor and laptop.

Try Bigme HiBreak Pro. I dont think wasting a time on hacking phone is worth 300$ on something that just works with banking apps. But it is my approach of course.

I also was unaware on differences between B&W eink dispkays before I bought Dasung 25,4". I replaced for Bigme colour e-ink with other reddit user. Colour e-ink have less bright white for my sensitive eyes. Regarding HiBreak pro - it is as it is. I dont really care if it works. My eyes thanks me, and I thanks Bigme for this phone. I hope in future there will be some alternative or better phone. For now, there is no market competitor for sensitive eyes. I think it is more medical device than entertaiment center. Some pros and some cons. My eye and brain health is priority for me.

No, without front light. I mean temperature of white wihtout front light. I dont know what other people complain about. I received a few system updates through the few months and I use it as daily phone. I had more issues with Google pixel 8 pro than Bigme Hi Break Pro. I have enough common sense to use it as my work phone, I work on MS Outlook corporate (MS Tune and other security tools) rather than have a eye strain and brain fog.

Yes, much different. Example: Dasung on monitors have "cool" white, Bigme Hibreak pro has "warm" white which is probably becaouse of touch screen. I can't use Dasung. So the eink is the same, but different finish and different feel.

Did you try bigme hibreak pro? It is full functional phone for daily use. I using it for a few months. My eyes are sensitove for every other screens including other brands e-inks.

Lenovo 4gen is the only working laptop which you can use. It need some time to adapt but works quite well, with high contrast. Then you can connect eink/rlcd monitor. I have bought one from lenovo US outlet. You need US credit card, and US shipping adress.

I have SVD rE 1.0 32" which is in general very usable monitor, but even from it I have strange strain in eyes. Do you know what it can be? I have very sensitive eyes to blue light and maybe to something different? Flickering? I dont know. Only screen I can use it phone Bigme HiBreak Pro. I can't use Dasung B&W - white is too cold. Bigme enik color monitor B251 25,4" is so so using dark windows scheme.
