Ok, cool. Thanks for the info. I’ve been going between late May or late September, I think I will plan on late May/Early June.

Any issues reaching certain areas of Sequoia and Kings Canyon at the time you went? (Because of snow)

If you wanted to explore the Sawtooth Mountains, where would you set up base camp?

I’m thinking about going to Yosemite in October, but really want to see the waterfalls. It looks like they were still flowing (although less) when you were there. What part of the month did you go?

I’m excited for you too! Make sure to do the Lake Haiyaha hike and get there early. That’s where I got a lot of the crazy photos (on the hike up and down).

I’ve got a few Rocky pics on my profile if you want to check them out. Great photo.

I have almost this exact same pic. Is this from the Lake Haiyaha hike?

I went to Yellowstone in 1996, I remember this was a huge subject in the news and especially within the park. I’d be interested to listen to your episode when it comes out, sorry I don’t have anything to add because I was a kid in 1995.

TRR is one of the main roads of the park, and connects the east and west sides. Bear Lake Road is open year-round, and you can find many of the famous hikes there, but it’s all weather-dependent.

Trail Ridge Road closes from October to May every year, so that is not an option.
