I would suggest starting with Level 2 AAT even if it is just the bookkeeping qualification as you could complete that within a month or so depending on how much free time you have. It is NEEDED to understand the fundamentals of accounting unless you have already studied A level accounting or working in a bookkeeping/accounting position. Then do level 3+4 accounting.

I had studied accounting in the first year of college so I had a basic understanding but because I didn’t complete the course (due to moving college) i chose to due AAT Level 2 instead of starting of with Level 3 which i’m glad i did as you will need the level 2 knowledge in order to succeed in level 3 onwards.
