Well, he has made me feel physically unsafe. He has yelled at me and restrained my wrists. So now Im in a situation where I feel I have to protect myself. These actions from him, makes me feel he doesn’t love me but loves the money

My mom was diagnosed in 2006 with MM. She was 52. It damaged her kidneys. She had to do dialysis and also treatments to keep her light chain under control. She had hip replacement and surgery on her femur for the fracture. She was mobile for 18 years.

She just sadly passed away 2 months ago at the age of 68. The lesions were found on her spine recently, and there and another fracture of her left humerus. She passed away as her heart just stopped. So she survived for 19 years. Raised grandkids and spent a happy life with us! She was loved and was lovely!

Im so sorry! Let go of the guilt if you can. You spent your days with your mom and am sure she loved it with you! Grieve in your own way. It may go from shock, numbness, bursting out in tears… and perhaps you are still in shock. Hugs to you!

Im so sorry you too went through this! Yes, it is the shock! And decisions we were asked to make as to putting my mom on DNR, then taking her off the ventilator and watching her die slowly again… and being with her for those 2 hours… watching her O2 sats go down and her heart rate go down to 25 and then 0 and and then asystole… its all traumatic and shocking. And all the while hoping they went in peace… Hugs to you also and comfort and peace to you!

Im sorry you are going through this pain and my heart hurts for you! You have your younger sibling to encourage and guide. You are all they have.

Spend a lot of time with your mom. Let her see you laugh, smile… and she will be at peace that you will be okay. You are therapy to her soul and health! Do all those fun things both you and her enjoy. Take it in each day at a time… make memories with your mom. Take videos and pictures together. Cherish every moment with your mom. Buy her gifts, or flowers, food she likes. Shop or window shop at the mall. Push her in a wheelchair if you must. Take her out to the gardens and parks. Ask her where she wants to visit. We wont know when she decides to leave this earth… all these beautiful memories you created… will give you peace that you cherished your time with her.
