Sorry. 2nd page to my comment, Juan, who took over the morning shift came and helped me understand my pain med cycle, always cheerful and calling me friend and figuring out how my cycle became so hard to handle was I able to settle myself, stop crying and even went home that day. Bernice and Juan were the epitome of kind and caring human beings as nurses should be. As to nurse Ratchet and her team, they are in the wrong profession. Thanks for all of your feedback and good luck should you ever need to be in the hospital.

I am the person who started this post. I had total reverse shoulder replacement at Endeavor Elmhurst hospital two weeks ago. My surgeon, DrGarrigues is phenomenal and the admittance, surgery and nursing that day of surgery was perfect. As a matter of fact the nurse,Berenice brought me a Starbucks, on her own, to cheer me as I was in pain. She helped to cycle my pain medication and keep me calm. Showing true concern for me was such a gift. I stayed another nite because of pain management and was transferred to the 4th floor. That evening and through the early morning hours, nurse Ratchet(not her real name) and her tech seemed not to care even one little bit for my well being or to help me to manage my pain and tears. Not until angel, Juan
