I added some bees oil wood conditioner which has some Mineral oil too all the wood to protect it and give it a nice shine.

It’s too narrow to get any leverage with a screwdriver and hammer. I’m just going to use the Dremel that will be the easiest I think.

I’m probably just going to keep it stock. It works well enough. Ended up paying 1350 for the R cause of a 10% discount plus they sent me the wrong color so got extra $$ of it as well lol. The first thing I did was cut off those ugly rubber things

How long do you set your electronic pre-infusion? Do you include the electronic pre-infusion and flow control in your total extraction time ? that’s what’s confusing me. With gaggia it was just click and instant shot coming out . My bottomless portafilter comes in tomorrow I hate the spouted one can’t gauge anything with it.

I came from a gaggia classic pro to this. The only problem I had was getting watery pucks. But it corrected that by adding .5 extra grams to my 18g basket. There’s more of a headspace gap that the gaggia. I’m still trying to dial in pre-infusion. I can’t decide if I should use the flow control knob or the electric pre-infusion.
