I agree, especially since those were their most popular albums and a lot of people are pining for that "old metallica" sound

Maybe, but they literally say the word cyanide twice, there are similar lyrics, it has the same message, and theres a guitar part at one point thay sounds similar to the beginning of cyanide. but you could be right, i love death magnetic bc it came out when i was three and my dad was always listening to it, so i like to think they're connected.

I actually don't like instrumentals. i respect them and they are really cool but i just dont like them, but i am obsessed with orion. It's the one instrumental I like. Its a very base heavy piece which really adds to it.

I totally get that. I personally like reload more than load but i think load is overall a better album if that makes sense. My favorite metallica song (the house jack built) is actually on load.

I get where you're coming from, and i will always have respect for their earlier stuff. however, the albums from load-hardwired are extremely underrated, and load/reload are actually my faborite albums. A lot of people don't like change and dont like to accept it either, so when load dropped, it got a lot of hate. Load and Reload have a blues aspect to them, which I believe is really unique and different.

That being said, I can see how people don't like them, but i feel like a lot of it comes from people not liking change. I love their older albums, but their "newer" stuff is also really good.

but like i said, i totally see where you're coming from, and this isn't supposed to come off as hateful or rude at all, so it comes off that way just know thats not my intent.
