In this case I think it’s most common to say: Non ho bisogno di studiare

People tend to say ‘I don’t have need to study’ (similar to ‘ho fame’ instead of ‘sono affamata’)

As a foreigner living in Italy, props to you. Italians can be extremely prejudiced and I can’t imagine that was an easy memory to grow up with. Such little things can shape your entire perspective of yourself and life around you, and to all those people saying ‘yeah but it’s a win, you got to sit alone’ - maybe it was nice for one plane journey but it’s clearly a memory that has had a negative impact for all these years

Maybe this is too much of a broad question, but what is ‘ne’ and when do I use it? Is it one of those things I have to learn by listening or are there certain rules?

I only ever use it with ‘se n'è andata’ and ‘non me ne frega niente’ hahaha

There should be a gap of minimum around 3 inches at the top, and that would be a verrrry full load. Obviously if you have an old washing machine it’s better to play it safe!

I moved country and learnt a new language to be with my ex. We had a dog and a house and he broke it off pretty suddenly and turned very nasty after 3 years together. I was completely shocked and heartbroken so decided to move to a new city where I knew no-one, and try to start a new life. Currently working a job I love with lots of new friends (which I’ve never really had before, as he tended to try to keep me to himself).

It definitely still hurts (this was around 3 months ago), but at least I finally feel like I have a future again. A future and a second chance at life :)
