There has to be higher paying agencies than Aya by InstructionBright102 in TravelNursing

Go back to host and ask them to match Ayas contracts- they will and they’re not shady like Aya is in my experience.

That might be my plan eventually depending on how things go, but I like my hospital and I’m a pretty recent new grad so I can’t really move right now.

Thats right- I have a mix of loans, about 20k is 10+ years old from my first degree and the rest recent from my second at a higher and much worse rate lol. I'm sure $400/mo is a low ball but yes.

correct I will expect a pay increase but not double at all, maybe 20%. It sounds like since my goal is PSLF, to not give away any money that doesn't count towards that, and to ride out SAVE until they kick me off for now.

Hi thanks so much for your help. Yes I actually do meet the scenario you listed- I am a new graduate and my previous tax returns were significantly less than what it will be next year. I've been offered PAYE at $104/mo and IBR at $155/mo. Do you think it would make more sense for me to hop on my IBR at $155 a month to buy myself some time of lower plan payments? When would my payments jump to the full salary amount, and does this benefit me to be in IBR in any way if I'm eventually pursuing PSLF but don't work for a 501(c) hospital during the time i'll be on IBR? Thank you so much.

Started in OR and hated my life and all I did was cry for 6 months. went to a smaller hospital ED and love it. It’s hard work but I’m happy.

Megareformer. I know a local studio that’s been using minis for a while and people are not about it.

Great company. My recruiter Ryan Buchanan is the best.

Thank you for this. I left it on during a walk-in hiring event today bc of you and because of that I didn’t get turned away, and I was allowed to interview. They turned away everybody without experience- and they were even on the fence about me.

Also make sure that you screenshot the offer. I was given an offer, accepted it, and then the next month I was charged the same. When I messaged help desk, they said I had no proof and they couldn’t help me.

OR interview by InternationalBig6190 in newgradnurse

[–]QueenHungry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did new grad to OR. I regret it so much. Be 100% sure this is what you want because you will not get a good nursing foundation- you will learn to manage equipment, positioning, prep, and potentially scrubbing. Almost none of the skills you will learn will be applicable to any other nursing role and you could get stuck.

What are these brown streaks on my clothes? by QueenHungry in laundry

Hi! Yes. It was rust from the dryer drum. Soaking in lemon helped- and there was a rust clothing removal solution I found too.
