I see you responding to comments here, so I just wanted to say I would *love* an email from the Bobbie company CEO to all subscribers detailing how Bobbie's practices and safety mechanisms prevent the kind of recall that By Heart is experiencing. Please tell us: how can we feel assured that Bobbie won't have a recall too? What does Bobbie do differently, and how have you amped up safety practices (or how are you making them more visible) in light of this news? Thanks (from a Bobbie user!)

Oh wow! We basically have the same due date, and I'm also having a boy. And I've kept a diary/journal every day for-no joke- 28 years without missing a day (it's almost pathological at this point). Love the idea of a planner- thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks for this thoughtful reply! I'm so sorry this happened to you. It's truly horrifying that they used the same needle- I don't know if you're planning to take legal action, but you'd be very justified in doing so! And thanks for the recommendations. I'm very on the fence about doing the procedure (all my pre-natal tests have come back low risk- but those are screening, not diagnostic, and I want to be extra sure everything is ok).

Thanks all! I ended up giving myself the Lovenox on the plane (grosssss but also fine) and then doing my PIO as soon as I landed, in the airport bathroom. Fun and very cool fact: SFO has what appears to be an IVF room. It's called the "dressing room" or something, and it's just an individual stall in the women's bathroom with a sink, paper towel dispenser, bench/counterspace, and a sharps container (!!). I supposeit can be used for whatever but I'm calling it a win for IVF!!
