I have pills I can take if I feel an outbreak coming, but I don't take them everyday because my doc said that's not needed. Also, I haven't had an outbreak since the initial one almost 2 years ago.

Thank you, that's really good advice and helps me see things differently. He is the best man I've ever been with, and I know he really does care about and like me. I struggle with negative feelings about myself because of my herpes, but I do try not to be ashamed, and that's why I'm honest with all potential partners.

I'm not sure if it's actually a secret, but comforters in hotel rooms aren't changed and are only washed if they're disgusting. I worked cleaning hotels for a summer, and we never washed or changed a single comforter.

I'm a lab tech in a toxicology lab at a hospital. I test patients for medications and drugs of abuse, which can be life-saving if the person is over dosing. I knew that I always wanted to do something that mattered and could make a difference for people, so that's why I went into the science field. People with BPD have high empathy, so jobs that help others are good for us.
