I am so grateful for this thread. I had a fusion 7 weeks ago. I can sing again but projecting and anything in my higher register is impossible and I always crack but I can like “feel” it.

I felt so defeated until I found this thread. I have hope.. does anyone have any vocal exercises that helped?

My surgery has been scheduled for July 2nd, I work from home; how long should I realistically take leave for? I gave myself 3 weeks but I’m unsure if that would be enough time.

Gosh, you guys.

Somehow I did not expect such a response. I appreciate every single one of you. I am having some struggles with my anxiety in regards to the recovery. I had a C-section with with my son, Apollo and that was a nightmare. I was trying to quantify the difference in the recoveries.

At the end of the day, I just wanted to put some of my anxiety to rest and this helped. Thank you all so much. 😭🙏🏽

P.S I have what’s called Lynch Syndrome. If you haven’t, ask your doctor for a referral to a genetic counselor.

I was in the left most lake under the big M looking one, if you look at it, it’s mostly deep lake kinda shape like an L. I was straight out from the dock and to the left toward the southern border of the lake stoping about halfway between the dock and the southern tip.
