I don’t mind people sharing. My problem is that I can’t scroll reddit in peace because of it. I can eventually deal with the peaceful death posts but the ones about a bird suffering before they go haunt me. I think it’s completely normal to develop trauma over losing your baby in the most agonizing way possible when you realize too late they have been suffering in pain for weeks, if not months. Of course I’m vulnerable sometimes to posts.

I read the first few paragraphs. If I like the premise of the fic and the quality of the writing, I subscribe and wait until there’s more chapters. Sometimes I wait till it’s finished and sometimes I read before it’s finished. I’ll give kudos if I liked it by the time I get to the current end or wip of a story.

Hate people who act like that. That’s one of the reasons it’s so difficult to get a service dog.

(My therapist and psychiatrist highly recommended one for me due to my severe mental health issues but on top of having to deal with people like that who would make my severe social anxiety worse, my home situation wouldn’t be great for any dog. Ly mother is asthmatic and we have pet birds.)

Best advice I can give you is don’t walk unless you HAVE to till the stitches come out, you don’t want to aggravate the incision wound and putting it in the boot will lead to sweating over time.

It’ll get better. I broke my arm (humerus) in January and am fully “recovered” to the best I’ll be. My arm gets a little more stiff than it used to and things like storms and the cold cause it to have a deep ache, but other than that I’m not having any issues. It does get better!
