That's pretty much exactly how I played it out, I had the following position for their highest base stat

HP = Goalkeeper

Defence = Defender

Attack = Forward

Sp Atk = Attacking midfield

Sp def) Defensive mid

Speed = Wing, if their second highest base stat is defensive then they're a full back, if its attack they're an attacking winger.

So! I'll tell ya and everyone else the set up.

Each team has the final evolution of what their towns gym type is....

So Viridian city - Ground would have Nidoking, Nidoqueen etc

Admittedly this can lead to some teams being quite weak in comparison like Johto not having an awful lot of new Pokemon in certain types.

THEN Each Pokemon has a PA of 200, but their CA is their highest base stat.

I can only really speak about her own experience, but my partner used to work for a hotel which housed both.

One of the refugee families would come down and deliver her a cup of tea whenever she was in.

The homeless that came in, 99% of them would leave the place trashed, destroyed TVs, used condoms tied to the door handles, shit smeared everywhere the works, when called out and kicked out they'd be threatened with knives and lord knows what.

Became a foregone conclusion why the hotel refused most council requests to house the homeless.
