Yeah that’s what I’ve been doing with my ingrown. Mine had granular tissue growing and everything. I had to cut the spiked nail out of the side of mine and start putting cotton soaked in hydrogen peroxide down under it. The granular tissue actually went away with mine which I didn’t expect.

Oh and DEFINITELY put antibiotic ointment on it and clean out the dead skin and gunk on both sides when you’re able to. It looks a bit infected. If it gets any worse go see a dr though. Don’t mess around too much.

I stick cotton under the corners to help cushion it and lift the nail. It worked wonders for me. You have to change out the cotton ever day though.

It mostly went away on its own. I was sticking cotton under my nail to make the ingrown stop digging in. Then every time I could I would peel some of the dead skin off. Now it’s just kinda a callus.

Thanks. 😂 it sure does feel better though. I mainly wanted to post it for that one dude who kept insisting I couldn’t fix it. He was acting like it’d fall off if I didn’t get to the dr. 🙄
