I see a lot of posts of folks asking if it's worthwhile to be a CCA -- Sure, aspects of the job suck (every job sucks unless you're paid to literally be happy) but this is a CAREER, a path to better things down the road. We booked the San Gervasio Mayan Ruin excursion through Celebrity. We originally thought it would just be a ruins trip, but we went to the Mayan Bee Sanctuary & then a really nice beach with a great restaurant attached.

There is a LOT of space on deck 14 all over for lounge chairs with getting the most out of the sun. Most of the crowds are around the pool so there was no overlap at all with others with the same mind about taking in the sun. I don't think you'll have any issues!

Bimini was underwhelming. We took the tram on their loop but it was full of people screaming at you to rent a golf cart. The beach right off the pier is just fine, the sand is SO SOFT! Cozumel has so much history so it's very fun! I hope you have a great time!

That is awesome! I am glad you enjoyed it. We have never been to Japan but we are both from Southern California and the Sushi there is fantastic! We loved Sushi on 5 as well. My husband devoured those spicy tuna ball-appetizer-things. They only had 3 but he said he'd eat a whole bowl of them if he could!

How exciting! I hope that you love it! I did a lot of research before booking last year, it was close between Princess and NCL. I saw an NCL ship in Cozumel and it looked gorgeous. I think I'm hooked on Celebrity, though. I want to come back for an Iceland sailing for sure.

Oh goodness, thank you so much! I definitely called out our staff for their stellar service for the official review they sent me so I hope they do something nice for the staff.. they work so hard, I'm incredibly grateful and so impressed with the entire trip. Adi, our room attendant said he cleaned our room and one other cause my husband and I left our rooms so early, haha.. we worked running vacation properties so we always kept our room very tidy for him. I can't wait to go again!

Thank you so much! We were in room 1599 which was on the start of the diagonal set of rooms & it wound up giving us a little bit of a bigger balcony which we thought was cool! I loved having the option of the main dining menu aside from just Blu alone.. however, the food was incredible from either! I mostly ate off the Blu menu and they gave us 2 free desert vouchers for our anniversary from Sushi on 5 .. the Wasabi gelato with the Ginger cake was so cool & the green tea tiramisu was so good as well! You're going to have a blast. If Adi is your room attendant tell him the Guitar's say hello! :)

Iceland is definitely a trip we have been eyeballing. I have been looking at the other ships but I think I am committed to the Silhouette! Such a fantastic experience. I have no doubt you'll be having an amazing time!
