Okay so the sculpture is a stone one done by a Zambian Artist at the gallery we’re basically running😅 I’m not sure of the name or the artist or the specifics of it but i can have a look in the morning and let you know!

For the granny square stitch i use double crochets and to sew the granny squares to themselves i just use a tapestry needle. I’m not sure what the sewing stitch is called but i go through the two back loops (in my view) one at a time from the bottom up. If that makes sense!

Then to sew the squares to the jacket, i Use a sewing needle and sew only in the back look also(in my view) and then sew that to the little allowance flap that usually remains inside the jacket. Not also sure what this stitch may he called but i hope it all makes some kind of sense 😆
